Stock Market to President.....STOP IT, YOU'RE KILLING ME !!!
NY POST/Yidwithlid ^ | 3/4/08 | Yidwithlid

President Obama is not getting the message. Yesterday when asked about the Market's Decline during his administration he replied that "What I'm looking at is not the day-to-day gyrations of the stock market"

Sorry Mr. President but you are not getting it. The Stock Market has not been gyrating during the month and a half of your presidency, that suggests lots of ups and downs. The stock market has been going DOWN during your administration. And every time you announce another Program it goes down even further. Just look at the chart above which shows the Dow Jones average from Inauguration Day through March 3.

The stock market is falling because you fail to see that your programs will retard investment in American Business and raise taxes on everyone, not just the top 2%. Investors also fear your "talking down" the economy and the fact that you have set up big buisness as the enemy of the people. Your energy plan and your love fest with organized labor will raise prices on top of the higher taxes.

You Sir, are Killing the Economy. In short, Wall Street is sending you a message, STOP IT, YOU'RE KILLING ME !!!:

He is not concerned with the stock market; he is concerned with the creation of pain while casting the illusion of attempting to ease the pain. He knows that economic and social pain will enable him to push his agenda on an otherwise un-willing population.

The Market predicts the future on all the information it has. It is predicting more disaster from Oblack. He needs to declare a tax holiday and quick.

Pray for America, Our Troops and obama’s Failure

Obama to stock holders: You are evil people who are the cause of all our problems. You are not real Americans, when you get right down to it. Your money is my money, to be redistributed as I see fit, to those who haven’t earned it and who will be asking for more once they’ve burned through this. You should be ashamed of your awful behavior. Your investments are tanking because of the decisions I’m making, I will not give you a writeoff on charitable giving, and I will tax you at every turn.

Now get out there and invest more and save the economy and my presidency, you selfish SOB’s.

Watch as he claims credit for “helping investors” by bringing stock prices down.

Obama gets the messsage.

The market is going precisely where he expected it to.

(Guess what would happen to this fragile economy in the event of a terrorist attack? For good measure, he doesn’t care about that either.)

This country is so screwed.

I don't know if we can ever gain back what our forefathers gave us.

Personally, I will join any endeavor to fight the socialists/ communists/islamist force that now has it's foot on our heads and is pressing harder every day.

I've known homosexuals who sneer and call other folks "breeders".

I think Obama sees "producers" in much the same way. He's waging war on the middle class. In his dreams, there will be a mob of citizens of approximately equal net worth, and a political class of bureaucrats who run things for the betterment of society. The destruction of the stock market is a key step on the journey to this "paradise".

In my mind, if BHO would just deal with the financial crisis, there would be a lot of optimism. But their plan seems to be more political and more ideaological about things like card check for the unions, healthcare, cap and trade emissions, redistribution of wealth, etc. That’s what the market is reacting to - all the uncertainty moving forward about the new regulatory business restrictions in the future. No one knows what they are and what the impact will be on higher costs - therefore the business community is bailing out.

If BHO had come in and taken the financial crisis head on more than likely he could have been a hero - and then start with his left wing entitlement programs. He probably could have gotten anything he wanted. But now, I think he has tarnished his reputation as being more concerned about his left wing philosophy instead of what is best for main street.

Shelly...I hear that in Maine constantly. Homosexuals who call straight people breeders. Some of these people are so vile and disgusting. They think allowing homosexual marriage will save our economy by welcoming them in our states. There is a paper I follow and the comment sections when these issues come up is really crazy. What the heck is going on? since this bozo has been elected, the homosexual community is coming out of the wood work. It’s like every creepy crawly thing is on this power trip and we have to bow down to them.
It’s the same with people who have faith in God. It’s like open season on Christian people.

Let me give the contrarian view here: who cares?

Seriously.

When Bush was reelected, I moved all of my investments into gold. My portfolio has doubled in value since then and shows no sign of weakness.

Why did I do that? I did it because of the "lost 9 billion dollars." After we defeated Saddam, the US loaded sent 9 billion dollars to Iraq and it just disappeared. No one had any idea where it went. Not one person. I was outraged. Of course, I couldn't seem to elicit any outrage from any of my fellow "fiscally conservative" friends because any criticism of Bush or Iraq was considered "anti-American" or evidence of "Bush Derangement Syndrome." No bid contracts, massive waste and fraud... it just kept going. Meanwhile, here at home, Bush was ballooning federal spending, and not one peep was heard from the usual watchdogs. When people like Ron Paul complained, they were branded as "crazy." I went with hard assets and never looked back.

I guess my "Bush Derangement Syndrome" paid off. For all those people who drank the Kool Aid ("What financial crisis? The Dow is 14,000!"), well that's capitalism. The Dow is under 7,000 because that's what it's worth. You can't just make it go up because you wish it would. It has to go up because it's worth more. That's how capitalism works. It collapsed because so much of it was based on money generated from wishes and pixie dust (Credit Default Swaps).

Obama does not control the market. The market controls the market. It will go up when the stocks are worth buying again. You want that to happen quickly? Then support more stimulus spending. If you want that to happen sustainably then buckle down for the long term and quit whining.
