Lets all send our Senators and Congresspeople our empty billfolds as a protest of their spendthrift ways....

I'm mailing my elected representatives an empty billfold. Maybe with a note inside that reads "I figured you would look in here...Sorry I'm all tapped out...." Or a teabag.....
Everyone has an old billfold or purse laying around. Maybe we could send a message if they got enough of them in the mail....

I like it. Send them your water bill, after it's been paid, by you. Send it to remind them. We, as responsible citizens do pay our bills. And the taxpayer should not be responsible for paying for those who are not responsible.

The wallet should not be empty...it should contain copies of “necesity bills” i.e. light, gas etc and ask for a bailout.

Anything you physically send to anybody political in DC gets screened for anthrax, so it might not get there for anywhere from six to eight weeks.
"please be aware that to protect mail handlers from anthrax, all congressional mail is being diverted to either Ohio or New Jersey for anthrax screening. This new mail procedure has caused significant delays, with some letters taking months to arrive at our office."

Let’s send them pinkslips...wouldn’t that be fun! We should print up pink slips from the American people, we could have some real fun with that...Everyone else is getting pink slips..so why not them?

OH OH...wouldn’t this be fun...put the graphic up on the web and everyone can download them...and put in the name of the politico they want to fire...we could send MILLIONS of PINK SLIPS TO WASHINGTON...For the ones who are up for relection in 2010, we’ll put the date one day after election day! This is cheap, and it could be fun and it will make our point...I’m talking MILLIONS of pink slips coming into Washington....
