Here is video of Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele talking with CNN's D.L. Hughley last night, and calling comments made by Rush Limbaugh during his speech to CPAC "incendiary and ugly." Steele said Limbaugh is not the de facto leader of the Republican Party, and that he is an "entertainter."
This is exactly the point Rush Limbaugh was trying to make in his speech. Republicans need to stop worrying about what the D.L. Hughley's think! They will never like conservatives or Republicans, because they are liberals! Steele should not have disavowed, in effect, what Rush said. He should have hammered home the core principles set forth by Limbaugh in his speech. . . . . (Watch Video)

What "race thing"? In his speech Rush made it clear that he views humans as unique individuals and not as members of races or other groups.
I could have given Steele a pass for saying Rush is not the leader of the Repubs.
I could have given him a pass for saying he’s only an entertainer.
But for him to call Rush’s words incidienary and ugly?
Nope. Bye-bye. Not a dime to the RNC..only to individual candidates and that starts with Tedisco for Gillibrand’s open seat in NY.
Farewell, Mike, we hardly knew ye
Okay, Mike...let’s hear your big ideas.
Now there's a campaign...send the RNC a penny with a brief note..."Here's change you can believe in...."
I agree....it didn’t come off that bad to me. I wish he didn’t use those words, but the first time I watched it really didn’t even register as much of a criticism of Rush to me.
Yes indeed. Hey, all you guys who think Steele is the conservative leader we have been waiting for wake up! The GOP is dead, we need a new party.
Here I am. I wish he hadn’t said incendiary and ugly because the speech was just the opposite. But the other things he said in his comments to the show host were correct.
The RINO establishment in the RNC have no intention of listening to the base. They are still taking the position that the party needs to go even further to the Left, even past the middle like McCain has.
Rush pointed out that there is NO compromise from abandoning our principles and that sticking to our core beliefs is precisely what will get us back in the majority.
This goes completely against what Steele and his minions have secretly decided on what direction to take the GOP.
A certain amount of disjointedness will be noticeable in unscripted speeches. But Rush is witty and riveting even in disjointedness.
Obama reads his speeches from teleprompters. The words are not from his brain, they're from his shadowy marxist writers and advisors. They're not from his soul because his soul was sold years ago, Mephistophically-speaking.

Sound familiar?
I’m not sure if Limbaugh is distancing himself from the GOP or vice versa.
Jeez dude. I suggest everyone else run their letters through a spell and grammar checker.
What was ugly or incendiary about Rush’s comments? I watched his speech. Yes, he’s an entertainer. Too bad a politician doesn’t have the balls to say the same things that Rush says. Instead, we have the “mouthpiece” of the RNC bowing and scraping to a 3rd rate comic on CNN.
Rush has said many times he’s not a Republican.
BS!!!!!!!
LOL
Cue Jack Nicholson
Mr. Steele YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH
