[security cam photo, who is it?]
Ooh-la-la. According to police reports (view PDF), Rush Limbaugh is being stalked by a mysterious blonde named Melanie. Shes 30-40 years old, and drives a new, white sedan.
Wait. Its a woman? Then it might not be Matthews after all. Maybe.
According to 911 records, the mysterious blonde attempted to follow Rushs car through the gates of his Palm Beach estate yesterday. She hightailed it before police arrived.
Rush was cool, calm and collected about the whole thing. Ill...

More seriously, I fear Rush will be this century’s MLK.
Make 80 mil a year and have an audience of 20 million and the problem can be yours
With the Castle Doctrine Law in Florida as soon as that stalker steps on to his property he could bust a cap in his/her behind.
What a hero.
No, he called 911 because someone he didn't know, driving a car that could be used as a weapon, tried to enter his estate behind him as he went through the gate to his estate.
I'm not certain where Rush stands legally with respect to firearms ownership, but given that at least 30% of the population of this country thinks he'd should be taken off the air, or worse, I think he responded appropriately.
What a hero.
So what would you have done, oh wise one?
Maybe block the gate with my vehicle, get out and ask her what the hell seems to be the problem?
Certainly not wet myself and cry for help.
If anything happens to Rush Limbaugh, I hope our side finally figures out that it’s time to react with an appropriate level of aggressiveness.
That’s just what the lady wanted him to do! She would then have film of his confrontation to broadcast on all the talking-head shows. At that point, the media would be full of stories about Rush’s reaction to her rather than his the ideas and criticisms he discusses on his show.
Rush did the wise thing. Stay away from whoever it is and let the police handle it.
LOL, normally I would say to ignore the arm chair quarterback who would probably have done the same thing in real life and only mouths off on the computer....
.....but, Humblegunner would probably have chased her down the street with his truck throwing fireworks at her and shooting paintballs...
That being said, Rush is in a unique position where people are looking for any and every excuse to bring him down and the left would want nothing more than a YouTube of him confronting some ‘poor innocent woman’. Confronting her would give her what she wanted.
Okay tough guy, so Rush blocks his drive, jumps out to confront the person, and the person takes aim and kills Rush. Then would he be a hero to you?

w/o one fact, you go straight to dumbass huh ?
With all due respect, humblegunner, if you had read the narrative in the pdf, you would have seen that the caller was the CARETAKER of the property. Now the caretaker might have been instructed to call the police, but the narrative also indicates that this is an on-going problem. It’s always best to have a time-line of incidents with the cops before you ~blow someone away~.

Sure you would have...tough guy. I guess you think a woman stalker has never killed a man. Did you even think he might have called the police before he figured out it was a woman? Of course not...from you comments, you didn't think at all. Any more pearls of wisdom to offer?

Several things wrong with your statement here, first you have no idea if she was armed or not, you have no idea if she was alone or not. Of course at least one of those questions could be answered as they were picking bullets out of your ass during the autopsy.
Secondly, Russ has to worry about legal problems, if he accosted someone as you describe he could be sued for harassment or some other trumped up civil charge. Russ did the right thing, IMO.
OMG!
A woman in a car!
