Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh announced this week that hes toying with the idea of organizing a "womens summit" to find out why more women dont appreciate his patented point of view.
Limbaugh, who ruffled feathers recently when he said he hopes President Obama fails, was spurred by a Public Policy poll showing that only 37 percent of women compared to 56 percent of men have a favorable opinion of the shock jock. Thus, Limbaughs looking to close the gender gap.
Well have a summit of all the women in this audience or as many of them as we can get into breakout groups and perhaps devote an hour in an upcoming program to calls only from women who genuinely want to talk to me But I want some of these women to start telling me what it is I must do to close the gender gap or, if not, what it is I must do to close the gender gap, what it is Ive done that has caused the gender gap; assuming the gender gap is true and that the poll is true.
I own the men, and what must I do now to own women?
Well, Limbaugh, perhaps you could start wooing more women if you recant your oft-cited quote: "Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society."

You go, girlfriend!
I’m a fan of Laura Ingraham.
It’s okay for women to garble their words from time to time when but particularly when it’s time for romance.
Hey Rush, 37% of women listening to you in this society is not too bad. Considering the majority of them in this country are too busy watching Oprah and DR. Philth, not to mention soap operas.
Here’s an idea Rush, have some DRAMA on your show, talk about relationships and emotion. Bring in some Hollywood stars, like George Clooney, Sean Penn or Brad Pitt. Tell them how great they are and ask them about their relationships.
Or, use the never fail musician. A man with a guitar apparently is kryptonite to women, they’ll be tuning-in in large numbers.
This is too easy.
My real advice is this. Keep doing what your doing and be content with the 37% of real women who can actually think for themselves and tune into your show. Don’t waste your time with the other ones.
I’ll have you know I whine about all drivers that are in my way.
Oh, just relax and enjoy it cuz it's gonna happen anyway.
Psst. Susan B. Anthony was a Republican.
Recently there was a report of a study that men's sin was lust and women's was pride. Rush, as a man lets some of his lustiness through in his delivery. He is also very sure of his opinions because he thinks they are well founded. This is seen by some as arrogance. It is actually confidence. A prideful woman may resent this confidence. (I know, I hate to admit I'm wrong.) Also, I think it's hard for some women to realize that men act like men. Boys will be boys. Get over it. I don't think it's a problem with Rush, I think it's a problem with some women.
Congratulations on being a great parent. It’s not all about food, shelter, etc. I think truely loving your kids is about helping them “think correctly” (awkward, I know) at a young age so even if they “stray”, eventually they have the “tools” to get back on the - groan - right path in life. Kids whose parents have foisted the loony left think (i. e., the NYU protesters...) on them have a much harder way in life. Good on ya...
You mean behind that non-descript middle age white guy costume he wears?
I can’t figure my wife out. She is more militantly conservative than me; if I don’t lock the guns up I fear for the local liberal politicians. She, however, tends to listen to NPR when I would listen to Rush. She mostly laughs at their idiocy where I would have to shoot the radio.
smooth talkers rob money. Meanwhile hard workers and hard talkers are better company but not as feel good.
But let us not blame women. Really, if a man has his throne and confidence in morality, usually he will be finding himself single simply because being otherwise would take appart his throne of faith. It’s a difficult thing to follow for anyone, and especialy for someone of opposite sex because contradictorial.
Tush is not a Messiah like f@g Obama. He’s a man of fallibility from a good throne, as any one would be.
Alex, I’d like overweight smokers with drug problems for $500, please.
********
Don’t leave out the three divorces.
I meant Rush, not Tush...
Your first thoughts were, I think, absolutely right - the double standard SOME women (the women that get all the attention in the media...) expect is dumb founding. Abortion is number one (yet it let’s guys off the hook), let your guy cheat on you (only if he/his cronies help you get your ambitions realized), keep the hubby’s last name (only if he’s more famous than you; if you’re more famous than he, lose it), etc. Sorry to be one of this gender sometimes!
The rest of your post is pure crap, IMHO. Cheers...
You completely misunderstood the topic. Which is: why doesn’t Rush have a larger female audience and not how Rush has problems getting women in a sexual sense. He does have millions of female listeners, and he has no problems getting women. Someone with over three hundred million simoleons has very little problem getting attention from women. Does that sound sexist? Maybe I have to get in touch with my feminine side. (smirk)
using an unpaid intern as a sex plaything
I question who was using whom.
