Obama was raised by his father as a muslim (briefly) and then raised as an agnostic by his mother. He retains what he calls “a healthy skepticism of organized religion”.
It is an out and out lie to call him a Christian. Was he baptized at Rev. Wright’s Church of Hate?

There is no vitriol between Palin and Jindal supporters on this Forum. As one of the Palin-supporters in chief, I can safely say that NONE of us have any problems with Jindal.
However, he did drop the ball the other night, and denying that fact is simply burying your head in the sand. This is NOT a milicious attack on Jindal, but an observation, and thankfully, he's got plenty of time to get past it. Personally, I think Palin and Jindal could conceivably complement each other on a National ticket.
Now as far as attacks on both Palin and Jindal go on this board, look no further than the Romneybots, who've got their knives out for both governors.

I like Palin. I like Jindal. Those trying to pit one against the other don’t like either.

Itll be another 4 years of the anointed one if the best we can come up with is Palin or Jindal.
Beat it, loser. I'm so sick of you defeatists.

All they have to do is visit here and see the vitriol between Palin and Jindal supporters to make a claim like that.
I would bet that 90% of that vitriol is generated by the same "insane clowns" that posted on this loser's blog.
If you're criticizing either Palin or Jindal at this point (both good conservatives), you're only helping Obama and the liberals. Period.

If there is a 2012 ticket with both of them, it will be Palin/Jindal. Palin will not run a second time for the second spot. If not 2012, she might try 2016... but this is here shot now, and she won't take less.
Furthermore Jindal is 8 years younger than Palin and has greater chances to run succesfully at a later date. I think it can be ruled out that Palin would eye 2020. Jindal certainly should.
Finally Palin has currently more executive experience than Jindal, and she undoubtely is the bigger crowd magnet. Palin is the soul, Jindal the mind.

“actually I think Baraq’s goal is to hand out enough welfare to pull a Chavez and have a lifetime job”
That’s my concern as well. This whole thing surrounding his contrived “ascent to greatness” has all been too strange. . and his involvement with that African cousin of his who fomented so much violence in order to seize power from a duly elected opponent only adds to concern. (and Obama didn’t seem in the least concerned about that; in fact, he almost appeared in collusion. I hate to see this country descend into a third world, violent dump.

With the abundance of evidence to the contrary out there (regarding Gov P supposed shortcomings) I find it just about impossible to believe people on the Right who denounce her think they have a credible leg to stand on. Thomas Sowell just recently enunciated to and expounded on the ladies intelligence. Yet, some on the Right remain skeptical.
I wouldn't dismiss what you've stated in your post, that may be a part of it, but I think there are those (on the Right) who are naive, and then some who just have an unexplainable aversion to the lady.

Anyone who has ever met Jindal knows that Gilgoff is a liar and a fool. Bobby Jindal has a wonderful story about salvation. Of course I only have this on a second hand account. My mother met him at her local church in Louisiana. He may be Catholic, but she met him at a Baptist church and was able to shake his hand and talk to him for a while. He gave his own personal testimony about his salvation and his life with his wife and family.
Go ahead MSM, smear away. It just shows how scared you are of Jindal and Palin.

Do we know his positions on anything beside Defense? Also who said that he intends to run? If he is Conservative on the other issues, I'd love to see him "drafted" for office.
But because of this wild card choice, which is more fantasy than fact, you want us to discontinue Conservative candidates?

What you want say is we need another RINO media darling to win independents?
Not at all. I would like to see a solid Conservative who also has the personality and presence to win over a majority of the squishy middle.
Obomba did it while pushing a socialist agenda, certainly a Conservative could do the same.

Defeatist? I simply pointed out that I feel that neither Palin, nor Jindal are electable. I happen to like them both but feel they are not Presidential material at this time.
I would like to see David Petraeus make a run at it. He's a solid Conservative who would be immune to personal attacks from the left/media.

“I believe he was raised Hindu but converted to Christianity years ago.”
Hindu children in India are raised on stories about how Muslim invaders will eat them up if they are not good—these stories go back well, about 1,200 years—ever since Muslims started being a deadly nuisance to everyone nearby.
I work with folks in India and Indian Hindus do not regard Muslims very highly.
