Limbaugh Lashes Out at Jindal-Bashers! "Style is not going to take this country back."

LIMBAUGH: [T]he people on our side are really making a mistake if they go after Bobby Jindal on the basis of style. Because if you think — people on our side I’m talking to you — those of you who think Jindal was horrible, you think — in fact, I don’t ever want to hear from you ever again. … I’ve spoken to him numerous times, he’s brilliant. He’s the real deal. Some of us in flyover country are getting sick of the East Coast elites bashing our conservative leaders.
This morning the local talk radio hosts were even talking about this. Jindal may not have rays of sunshine shooting from his a-- but the content of his speech was exceptional... And, he didn't lie.
Some of us were very impressed with Jindal and were upset to see other conservatives pile on the popular governor.

One thing Republicans can learn from the Libs is do not attack your own in public. You just give them ammunition to use at a later date.
Conservatives need to stick together.
I keep sayin. He was trying to reach obamabot voters. He had to speak in small words and halting tones so they could understand him. Mr. Rogers tone was the only way they could follow him. Did everyone ever listen to Barak speak?
Liberals don’t have the thought processes that conservatives have and it takes them longer to understand. He sounded like he was speaking to a third grader because he WAS! Let us not forget how well Howard Stern proved that when he did his obama man on the street interviews.......
I stand by my “Jindal was terrible” comments. That was NOT the time to “try someone out”. Like it or not, someone who looked like they could lead from the Right was needed and Jindal failed. I don’t have anything against the good Gov. I don’t even “know” him that well. But this was a disaster.
We need both.
That ship sailed after the Nixon-Kennedy debate.

I was nearly jumping out of my chair on Jindal’s speech. He is what we have been looking for for a while. Does anybody think the Establishment media attack machine was going to give him a chance?? Those racist hated the color of his skin more than what he said.
Love how the FReepers who always complain about RINOs were outraged at his style. Do we want to be a mirror of the fraud?

Don’t disagree entirely. It was not great. It was a pretty run of the mill rebuttal by the opposition party. We were hoping for more and expecting to see the next big thing for the GOP. He underwhelmed, but it is not something that prevents him from a strong future.
Indeed. I mean I certainly hope he recovers and it was just a bad first game, as it were. I mean even Brett Favre’s first completion was just to himself. =)

Jindal is very good but conservatives are also making him out to be a messiah or the anti-Obama.
No matter what Obama and his running dog lackeys might say about Katrina, the people of Louisiana know that it was Obama's side of the aisle that hurt them the most.

Well . . . if he wasn’t being “tried out” on the National stage then his performance is even more worrisome. Just because you are smart and may be fantastic as a Governor, etc. doesn’t make you a National leader. However, I am hoping it was a one night blip. =) I just think it was a bad time for a blip.
On the other hand, looking at your January entry date, aren't you a bit young to be in here criticizing your elders?
