Any day now, psychiatrists are going to walk right onto the set while they’re taping The View and take Joy Behar away to a nice, padded room.

She actually said the infamous chimp cartoon is “an assassination threat” on President Obama. Seriously. She said that. We’re not making it up.

“I think you can be investigated by the FBI,” she declared, “if you make an assassination threat.”

Coming up next week on The View, Behar suggests that Angelina Jolie should adopt Little Orphan Annie, demands increased unemployment compensation for Dilbert, and congratulates Doonesbury on his enlightened drug policy.

Then, as soon as the show is over, she’ll rush off for her annual physical with Rex Morgan, M.D.

Is it a chimp or a monkey?

Maybe it's just a Primate?

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A portrait of President George W. Bush using monkeys to form his image has led to the closure of a New York art exhibition over the weekend and anguished protests over freedom of expression.

"Bush Monkeys," a small acrylic on canvas by Chris Savido, created the stir at the Chelsea Market public space, leading the market's managers to close down the 60-piece show that was scheduled to stay up for the next month. The show featured art from the upcoming issue of Animal Magazine, a quarterly publication featuring emerging artists. "We had tons of people, like more than 2,000 people show up for the opening on Thursday night," said show organizer Bucky Turco. "Then this manager saw the piece and the guy just kind of flipped out. 'The show is over. Get this work down or I'm gonna arrest you,' he said. It's been kind of wild."

Turco took the show down on Saturday and moved the art work to his small downtown Animal Gallery. Calls to the management of Chelsea Market for comment were not returned. From afar, the painting offers a likeness of Bush, but when you get closer you see the image is made up of chimpanzees or monkeys swimming in a marsh. "This is much deeper than art. This is fundamental American rights, freedom of speech," Savido said. "To see that something like this can happen, especially in a place like New York City is mind boggling and scary."

H.L.s Take: Touchy, touchy, touchy, I wonder why the guy got so upset about the painting. Could it be that the Truth hurts. Everybody on the entire planet knows that monkey boy is a Monkey, but Republicans just have to deny reality no matter how stupid they look doing it. "You painted Bush with monkeys?" Oh my Godddd! Well I never... I...you...what...Get that painting down or I'm calling the Police. Thats right just throw everyone in jail who has a different opinion then you. Thats the American way isn't it.

*Well Joy, why do you think a cartoon monkey makes you think of a black man?*

Good question. How many monkey cartoons were there of W the last 8 years? Where was the outrage then, Joy?

What I never understand about media lefttist elite is that they never behave like they have won.

We as conservatives got our butt kicked to the curb in November, you’d think the Joy Behars of the world would still be celebrating.

Instead, they always seem so angry.

Condoleeza Cartoon Shows Her Pregnant with Monkey

http://www.shortnews.com/start.cfm?id=56082

As US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice attends the Middle East over the continuing conflict, it appears that some local newspapers are producing some insensitive cartoons—with Palestinian newspaper outlets being accused of outright racism.

The caricature depicts Rice as pregnant, with the image of a monkey in her abdominal region.

Photo of Charlie Rangel at the podium of a March 19th, 2005 Workers World Party/Troops Out Now rally in Harlem, New York. The occasion marked the 2nd anniversary of the start of the Iraq war. The photo comes from the Workers World Party website.

Also appearing at this "peace" rally with the demonRat Charlie Rangel, now chairman of The House Ways and Means Committee, were Saddam Hussein lawyer, Ramsey Clark and convicted terrorist enabler/attorney, Lynne Stewart. Clark, with Workers World Party, started up that other 'peace' group, A.N.S.W.E.R. Clark also heads the International Action Center and was actually once Attorney General of the United States under democrat LBJ.

Oh I’m sure Behar was up in arms when that movie was made about the hypothetical assassination of George Bush a couple years ago. I’m sure if Behar had any comment it would have been along the line of: “Well they only used Bush because he was the current President and that adds more realism. To say that this film advocates the murder of George Bush is paranoid ranting.”
