Realizing that simply posting at FR is akin to preaching to the choir, I took it upon myself to post on other sites. Apparently, it was too radical because I have been banned again. The first time, I thought it was simply a computer error, so I re-registered and I was able to post. Now, this morning, I realize I must have said something way off because the same thing has occurred. I guess a 54 year old female pharmacist, who goes to church regularly, donates to animal charities, belongs to the garden club, likes to travel, read biographies, but who is also concerned about her beloved country is simply too much of a wacko to post on there.
I’ve been lucid and polite on other boards such as CNN and have been banned also. Last week, I got banned from the Golf Channel comments page. LOL.
They prolly cross-ref’d your IP address to the banned list.
How long are “the people” going to put up with “King Zero” and his buddies in the media?
I’ve had a similar experience on some news sites too.
They are censoring opinions they don’t agree with, no matter how respectful you are.
As “hateful” and all that as conservatives are supposed to be, the hate seems to come from the left.
I have never seen anything as hateful on Free Republic as some of what I have seen on DU and Daily Kos and Huffington Post. I’ve seen lots of disagreement and criticism of liberals and Obama here, but not the blind rage at conservatives and Bush that you see on those other sites. Yet those other sites will ban people with different opinions. Unbelieveable isn’t it?
and if you beleive the Wash Post- ABC news polls you are stuck on stupid. I have talked to people who had Obama signs and talked so wonderfully about him, tell me what a mistake they made.
Let your baggy jeans ride below your butt, put your ball cap on sideways and complain about not finding any jobs within walking distance of your (blighted) neighborhood.
Free Speech? Not any more. Next, they will come knocking on your door; maybe not even knocking.
My comments are regularly removed from Washington Post - and I do not use the foul language that most of the posters at Wash Post online use.
Yeag, I’ve been banned from the Austin Pravda (Statesman) permanently and from time to time from the Austin Chronicle (bigtime commie rag that also has entertainment listings).
Yeag=Yeah
Are your comments critical of Obama and Democrats and liberals? If so I bet that’s why they have been removed.
I can’t believe they let foul language stay on those sites as long as that anger and rage is directed at conservatives and others who don’t toe the liberal line.
Do these sites believe in freedom of speech? Very good question..................
It is, after all, their site. They set the rules. They bar anyone with opposing opinions.
Just wondering, BTW; why do you bother posting there in the first place? Are you trying to talk sense to them? Trying to convert somebody to conservativsm? Neither enterprise will yield positive results.
Dang! You sound hot!
I've found that the best approach in such venues is to be faultlessly polite in your eviscerations. If a lady from Tennessee can count herself a "southern woman," I'm sure you know exactly the technique I'm talking about....
Would be interesting to see examples of your posts that got you banned.
“...Are your comments critical of Obama and Democrats and liberals? If so I bet thats why they have been removed...”
YES, the are critical!
I am sensing the propogandists at WaPo don’t like the word “Obambi” and anything critical of homosexuals is removed quickly.
