Obama has spent his life in the pursuit of power not wealth. In his view, people with wealth, have earned it unjustly. He has no idea how wealth is created, or what hurdles one must jump to achieve it. So, instead of creating his own wealth, he has used his power, at what every position he has been in, to try and dictate, or extort (ala ACORN) how other people or businesses use their wealth. Like any obsession, there is no point which he will feel satisfied with his amount of power. And now that he is in the most powerful position in the world, his instinct is to spend the next four years maneuvering for and seizing more power. The current “crisis” is viewed by this administration as an opportunity that must not be wasted. The longer they can drag it out, the more power they will gain, the easier it will be to impose their will on us... and because they're clueless as to what they are doing keeping this crisis going isn't going to be a problem. I'm not sure what the next four years are resemble more... Machiavelli's "The Prince" or William Golding's “Lord of the Flies”
I thought the same thing. It’s all about power to achieve wealth that he steals from everyone else.
