A local TV crew was on hand for more openly criminal activity by Obama's pals at ACORN - now they are sending teams of thugs to break into foreclosed homes and encourage the evicted people to "homestead." I guess "homestead" is the new progressive euphemism for seizing other people's property by force.
I wonder if there will be any investigations into what they are doing. I'm only kidding... no one will look into anything at all and we all know it. They're on the "Obama's Favorite People" list. It just gets you all excited about what all they can do with a fresh $4.1 Billion in hand, doesn't it?
"We are actually trespassing, and so this is a way of civil disobedience to try to stay in the house. Legally it's wrong, but homesteading is the only means that she has left to stay in her house. And we feel as though this is the right thing to do at this particular time to save this family."

banks are not other people.
Wonder how well trained those ACORN dudes are at logistics planning?
You know, like not properly timing the departure of the armed homeowner?
Devolution of the USA to Zululand.
Who do you think banks are if not owned by shareholders? Do you own a mutual fund? These people may be stealing from you.
Keep the heat, electricity, and water off. Good luck.
Zimbabwe-America has arrived! How soon before Mugabe Barack Obama declares that ACORN “civil-rights” thugs have a right to seize any white person’s property and land?
ACORN has a WH office and an ‘Urban Affairs’ office.
This has to be going on with 0bama’s blessing. As the leader of the Democrat party, with the blessing of the Democrat, too.
Doctor Zhivago anyone?
Zululand, huh. Does this mean I get to use my Martini-Henry?
WE MUST NEVER FORGET .. OBAMA USED TO TRAIN THESE PEOPLE.
Is anybody get the picture yet. This is his “civilian army” he was talking about and YOUR TAX DOLLARS just funded them.
America .. you’re in real trouble.
No I’m pretty sure they’re not steealing from me.
You’ve gone 2 steps above his...I mean, their pay grade.
They certainly appear to be Obama’s Rent-a-Riot Regiment.
‘This is our house now: ACORN mob begins breaking into homes
By Michelle Malkin February 20, 2009 09:25 AM
On Wednesday, I said prepare for lawlessness as ACORNs civil disobedience mob steps up pressure for President Obamas mortgage entitlement expansion.
Well, are you ready, Baltimore? (Hat tip - Jeff Quinton) ACORNs troops are breaking the padlocks and breaking into homes. And this is just the start. Caution: OBAMACORN at work.
A community organization breaks into a foreclosed home in what they are calling an act of civil disobedience.
The group wants to train homeowners facing eviction on peaceful ways they can remain in their homes.
Derek Valcourt reports their actions are not without controversy.
Near Patterson Park, the padlock on the door and the sign in the window tells part of Donna Hanks foreclosure story.
The mortgage went up $300 in one month, said Hanks, former homeowner.
She says the bank refused to modify her loan and foreclosed, kicking her out of the house in September.
The community group ACORN calls Hanks a victim of predatory lending.
This is our house now, said Louis Beverly, ACORN.
And on Thursday afternoon, they literally broke the foreclosure padlock right off the front door and then broke into the house, letting Hanks back in for the first time in months.
Taxpayer-subsidized anarchy is on the way.
Mr. President? Mr. President?’

Government-sanctioned theft is a moral hazard for all of us, Tempest. When your neighbor or fellow citizen or a corporation’s property is not secured by rights... then neither is yours. I would challenge you to rethink your comment about banks and their property. Those banks have shareholders. And at any rate, your property rights are only as secure as theirs are. Probably considerably less so.
I give it a year before they are going after people's properties (like rental units where the occupants refuse to leave)
Stuff like this starts firefights in neighborhoods. They better think REALLY HARD about where this goes.
Well at least you admit that it’s institutional propoerty and not personel property. I don’t care about the shareholders either by the way. I know I’m a bad person. As far as I’m concerned the banks have already stolen from all of us.
The people that broke into those homes are simply being more pro-active than I am in taking back a portion of their tax dollars...
What this is a race issue now?
Your attitude's been noticed.
Oh yes...it's been noticed.
With all due respect, Tempest, if you think any of these people are paying taxes, you really need to find your thinking cap, I believe it is missing.
