Here is video of Rick Santelli responding to the attack on him today by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. Santelli appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews. Of course, Matthews was the usual Obama apologist, even calling him "Barack." He's on a first-name basis with Obama, and had the gall to press Santelli on who he voted for, as if Santelli is biased and Matthews himself is not. Santelli did say he voted for John McCain. Santelli acquits himself well here, and is becoming a real spokesman for sanity in the midst of the headlong rush to socialism underway here in America.
The final portion of the video is of Politico's Roger Simon defending Obama with Matthews, spouting their ususal anti-Republican class warfare. . . . . (Watch Video)

A lot of fools elected the zero and they are rapidly getting buyer’s remorse.
Too late for the USA though.
I wasn’t referring to Santelli, God bless him, but amplifying his complaint. I’m not a watcher of much TV so MSNBC is unfamiliar to me, but the clip gave me a buzz.
But I have a bigger problem with what Mathews said. It was very instructive. I knew something was wrong when in the 90s we had the massive participation of liberals in the stock market. I really believe that liberals must have thought that stocks have to always go up. And now that their 401Ks are down they actually believe it is someone else’s fault and they should be reimbursed. They just don't get that stocks go up AND down. When the snake oil salesmen told them to buy the dips they stupidly did just that.
What Santelli was saying is that people who have lost a big chunk of their 401k's (and by extension, a big chunk of their other investments) are being asked to give up more to cover other people's losses. It makes no sense.
