Hide them? or Draw them?

“Remember last years NICS Improvement Act otherwise known as the Veterans Disarmament Act? This law codified ATFs attempts to make you a prohibited person on the basis of a government psychiatrists finding that you are a danger - without a finding by any court. Well, roughly 150,000 battle-scarred veterans have already been unfairly stripped of their gun rights by the government.”

I suppose they will declare anyone who is a Republican is mentally ill, and remover our right to bear arms. We already know that “Liberalism is a mental disorder”.
I say we give them all the bullets (heh heh) and keep the guns!
That way I am diversified. If someone, whether thief or goon, comes to my home, they will only get the ones I keep. I will give them up in a nonviolent manner, with a strong protest.
If that were to happen, I would then have to think about the next step. I would not give up the rest willingly. Rob me once, shame on you; rob me twice, shame on me. I hope it never comes to that.
I don't think it will come to actual violence, with a few exceptions. We may be driven "underground" for a few years as far as 2A freedom goes, but there simply aren't enough jackboots in existence to come and take them all. One or two high-profile incidents like Ruby Ridge would incite a massive spirit of resistance. At least I hope it would.
That is the question, isn't it. If conditions are so bad that we'd consider caching our firearms, are they not bad enough that we should consider using them instead? I suppose that the answer depends upon a more precise version of the question. Does one frame the question as "Should we hide some of them?" Or is it "Should we hide all of them?" If "all" better describes the situation, then "draw" is your answer.
Hide some, use the others.
The truth is, if the question has to be asked, the answer is already apparent.
What is the point in having them if we have to hide them?
If they try it, pick your targets and go.
