Just got a call from the State Republicans..... they wanted money. I told to poor guy on the phone, NO WAY, not till the GOP comes up with a REAL Conservative Candidate. No part of the GOP is gonna get a DIME from me with A$$es in the Senate like Collins, Specter and Snowe. FORGET IT.
I had to hang up on the guy, I feel a bit bad, but they are NOT gonna get a dime out of me and arguing about how they can't recruit with out my money, yea, NOT BUYIN IT.

I’ve been doing that for over a year. I also send scathing letters in their pre-paid money-begging mailers. In the amount donated portion I always check “other” and write in “my opinion”.
They are getting hysterical about it, so keep it up!
Don’t tell anyone, but yes. They are mostly business men, and none of the good people want to run because of the overt corruption in the state. Its a back stabbing bunch of jerks, so none of the honorable folks will go near an elected office.
It depends on what state you’re in.
You can’t blame, for example, the Alabama Republican Party for Senators like Snowe and Collins.
If your state party has been doing a good job of advancing a true Republican and conservative agenda, they’re probably worth sending a check to.
Now on the other hand, if the people who called you were from the National Republican Senatorial Committe, I’d have flat out told ‘em NO!
Don’t reject everyone who calls, asking for money just because of Specter or Collins. Do what I do. Pick and choose your potential donations in a careful manner.
I can’t argue with ya, I will donate to a solid Conservative. Directly, but not to the Party, any wing of it.
I have had it, the GOP as a whole isn’t strong enough to stand up for what WE believe and what we LIVE, so screw em. GOP dollars now are more about keeping RINO’s in office, and until THAT stops.... yea, NO MOOLA!

The RNC (Really Not Conservative) finally stopped sending me their crap in the mail after I Freeped their buildings (310-320 First Street SE and 425 2nd ST NE) using the great DC chapter Freep techniques. It’s really as much fun freeping these RINOs as it is freeping Code Pinko or the Dems. Fortunately, they don’t have my phone number!
These RINO suits are in business for the money, to become Congressional staffers, and eventually, to hold office as they vote for pork, illegal immigrants, Sara Brady style gun control, etc.
One of the best digs I used: At Rep Senatorial Hqtrs (425 2nd ST), they were holding a Friday afternoon beer and b-b-q outside the building in a courtyard. From the sidestreet, I could see a bunch of placques on the cement wall (presumably for donors). I yelled “How many Wheaties box tops do I need to get one of those placques?” They were visibly uncomfortable—Ignore him! Say nothink to him! (Col Klink imitation)
When I got home on Monday, I wrote a letter with my name and address telling them I was the guy outside their offices the past Friday. I suggested that they REALLY might not want to send me their junkmail “surveys,” “charter member” certificates, etc ad nauseum. I got their attention after at least three letters and three phone calls did not. F ‘em!!!!!
They’re very insular in at least parts of CO except on the matter of donations. You might find the platform behind the following to be a refreshing read. Positions on the important issues are all there with no hidden opinions.
good to hear...for the past three years whenever they call me I’ve given them the same line; “when the GOP starts fighting for me the way I fight for them THEN I will consider giving them some of my hard earned cash!!!”......
when they called the other day I told thenm “they were not fighting hard enough against this bill” and when he said “just about all Republicans are voting against it” I asked why they were not out in front exposing the waste in this bill NOW??????!!!!!

This afternoon we got a call from the National Republican Senate Committee asking for money. Sen. Cornyn and a couple others (didn’t catch their names) would match donations. I told her we weren’t donating a dime until they get rid of the RINOS and actually had real conservatives representing us. I also told her they should throw the 3 traitors out of the Republican Party.
With the election of Steele as the RNC chairman, you should reconsider. I fully expect the party to head to the right.
Bloody well better head right.
I am about to change my party to Libertarian. Or just opt out of the party system altogether and go rogue LOL
They start hearing that message from more and more of us you think it will sink in that WE ARE SICK OF BEING BETRAYED?
Not holding my breath but at least I have more in my wallet in NOT donating. Apparently I am going to need every dime.
