A bill that won't really help his state in the long run has drawn Sen. Arlen Specter to the dark side--a place he seems comfortable--all in the name of "bipartisanship". Specter doesn't quite grasp that when all is said and done, you probably won't want your name remotely associated with this socialist spending agenda wrapped in stimulus clothing. But hey, Arlen, you'll be remembered for two things: the magic bullet theory and selling out your party in its most crucial moment. A legacy to be proud of I'm sure.

I am more concerned about what Mitch McConnell (Minority Leader) and John Kyl (Minority Whip) will do or not do. If there is not some punishment handed out in terms of committee reassignments and loss of office space and prestige we will have to give Kyl the title of WINO (Whip in Name Only).
We can count on this pretender to get himself on EIB when Rush comes back to excuse himself.
