I heard Leo on Andrea Shea King’s program after reading a number of negative comments here. The man comes across well. I take issue with the negative comments made about him. He has a point. Unless you’ve done something that makes people a lot more powerful than you want to sabotage you, your work, your family or your life, you may not be able to relate. Having once gotten myself in trouble for opening my mouth about a certain boss who was doing drugs in his office on office time, I know a little bit of the paranoia that comes with fear of reprisal.

I can relate. Leo has done as much as he can and now all he can do is walk away and leave it all up to God to sort out.

I wish him well and I pray for God’s protection on him and his family now and into the future.

Remember . . . there was a doctor who had a bomb planted in his car that blew up today . . . those things don’t just “happen accidentally.” There really ARE people who can kill someone without a second thought . . . and make it appear to be an accident . . . and there are a lot of people who will do anything . . . anything . . . to protect “the one” aka the current president. I’m sorry that SCOTUS didn’t live up to their oath to protect the US Constitution . . . and whatever the current president said to them in the closed meeting is speculation. For whatever reason . . . we got what we got and we got to let God take His course and take care of the USofA and us. The truth will eventually come out. It always does. Two weeks into the Presidency and he has to escape from the White House? Two weeks into the Presidency and the Honeymoon is waning? Two weeks into the Presidency and the Media is beginning to see cracks in his performance?

If we just wait . . . time will heal all wounds and wound all heels. And 2010 can’t get here soon enough. Neither can 2012 . . . neither can 2012!

Well, well. It seems to me that the reason he gives is questionable. If you are doing the right thing, and someone takes it the wrong way, that isn’t your fault. It shouldn’t stop you from continuing to do the right thing.

But I can see that this kind of thing can be wearing and discouraging. He certainly gave it a good shot.

I wasn’t there, so I have no access to absolute proof, but there’s nothing illogical about Donofrio’s account. His claim against Obama was viable—it had to do with legal documentation, not some weird untenable accusation, so Obama had every reason to feel politically threatened by it.

What level of resources would be expected to be used against Donofrio, given the circumstances?

Everything Donofrio says is consistent with what would be expected, including the level of paranoia he felt.

I believe this is the second time that Leo has dropped the matter. He’s a good person and good lawyer but a bit too nervous and high-strung to be involved in the eligibility crisis. I’m almost as negative as he is about the US court system but it’s my foolish nature to continue to hold out hope.

Because of the dual attacks upon my sanity, I came to Washington D.C. with fear in my heart, but I was not about to stop. Nothing short of a bullet was going to stop me from filing that application on Nov. 3, 2008. On the Greyhound bus to DC, I had made a plan to pay for a tourist trolley ticket to take me one stop from Union Station to SCOTUS. I figured I would be safer blending in with tourists rather than being alone. Before leaving for DC the night before, I died my hair blond, shaved, put on rock and roll clothes and stuffed the copies of my application in a hole through the pockets of my jacket which hid the documents in my back. I looked nothing like the attorney who had been in the Hughes Justice complex all week in New Jersey. But I made one mistake. I had my electronic passport in my sneaker. I walked into Union Station to purchase a $35 trolley ticket and probably set off an RFID tracker. I waited outside of Union Station for the trolley. At approximately 2:45 PM, just after I had purchased my ticket inside the station, I was sitting next to a white homeless man with a grey beard in his 50’s. He had two shopping carts full of clothes, food, radio etc., apparently his life possessions. We were the only two people sitting on this stone circle just outside the station. Suddenly, the homeless man starts gibbering some kind of weird code. He sounded like this, “Echo one four two seven, target is in the building, repeat target is in the building…”

Sounds like the "attacks upon his sanity" were successful.

Oh my. Leo, the birther hero, turns out to be a little nutso. Who’d a thought? And when we point out the problems with this guy’s reasoning we get attacked. Oh the irony. :-)
