I vote that as the best headline of the week.
“We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people,” Biden said in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: “It’s time to be patriotic ... time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut.”
I imagine Wesley Snipes must be feeling he got screwed. He’s sitting in prison for not paying his taxes.
If he were white, maybe he’d get appointed to a cabinet position.
Well we know why Dem love high taxes... they don’t pay them.. and get away with it
Unpatriotic hypocrites:)
Liberal DemoRAT thy name is corruption.
1. A man recently nominated to a federal cabinet post in the Obama administration steps down, either voluntarily or because of political pressure, because he didn't pay all the taxes he was supposed to have paid.
2. Many people were outraged and demanded that the nominee should step down, because he was a former U.S. Senator and he should have known better about his tax problems.
3. On the other hand, we have a person who continues in the position of President of the United States even though we have no proof that he was born in the United States and he refuses to release his long form birth certificate----the one with the doctor and hospital names on it.
4. I see it this way: Americans become outraged when a high-ranking government official does not pay his taxes, but many Americans don't really care where the President of the United States was born as long as they like him.
5. There seems to be one good thing: This new President of the United States seems to have paid his taxes, although we know that he suddenly and mysteriously paid up his college parking tickets just before he decided to run for president, parking tickets that, as I understand it, were almost 20 years overdue.
Do I have it right above, or am I missing something?
The Best Headline!
You nailed that one Joe!!!
1. Daschle nominee fiasco: Obama is gladly sitting down with all kinds of reporters and answering all kind of questions about this Daschle nominee and his unpaid taxes fiasco.
2. But while these famous reporters are asking President Obama all kinds of serious questions about the recent Daschle nominee fiasco for Human Services Secretary, they don't stick their necks out and dare ask Obama questions about where he was born.
3. If I were a famous tv reporter and had President Obama sitting just a few feet from me, I would not hesitate to suddenly leave the Daschle topic and ask him at least the following three questions about his birth. Simple questions really:
a. Obama, where were you born?
b. What is the name of the hospital where you were born?
c. You are president now, so why won't you release your long form Hawaii birth certificate, the one with the doctor and hospital names on it? What are you scared of?
4. It is so comical, if it wasn't so tragic, that reporters seem so scared to ask Obama a simple question: Where were you born and can you prove it?
5. I can only hope that some brave reporter will stand up and be counted in the near future by asking Obama about his birthplace at an Obama news conference.
Sad. Very sad.
Somebody please correct me if I mis-heard the good Congresswoman Pelosi.
1. Of course, this is the same Congresswoman Pelosi who signed under oath----right after the Demoratic convention in August 2008---a Hawaiian legal document that stated that Obama met the provisions of the U.S. Constitution to be president, but Pelosi conveniently never provided any proof that Obama was even born in the United States to back up her oath.
2. Oh, yes, as far as I know, no government justice officials have investigated Pelosi for possible perjury charges for signing the Hawaii legal document under oath, even though she may not have had any concrete evidence that Obama was born in the United States.
Sec. Timothy Geithner was also a tax cheat, yet he was approved after he “belatedly paid $34,000 to the IRS”
