This should be the new mantra throughout the conservative world, full IRS audits for every member of Congress. They are all so damned smug when it comes to passing new taxes and doing all the other stuff that affects the average taxpayer but not them! Let’s insist they put their money where their mouth is.
Maybe Rush will return with a demand that this be done.

Even us w-2 wage slaves can file new W-4s with 10 exemptions, wait until April 15th to file, file a crap return, then use every avenue available to delay payment.
This government needs to be reminded who works for whom.

Ah.....I got a seven year old back tax notice. I argued ‘statue of limitations’ to no avail. It was a small amount so I grudgingly paid it.
When I was a FF the city council started talking about random drug testing for firefighters and police officers. I addressed a council meeting and said I was all for it, as long as we included city managers and council members in the policy. The policy got dropped. Something about concerns for individual privacy turned up when we suggested it should be a blanket policy and cover everyone in city government.

There should be a law for anyone running for congress to have full discloser on their income and property taxes from the time they started paying taxes as a young person up until they leave office. I don’t want a tax cheat running our government.
A caller to Rush (Mark Steyn hosting today) just suggested this very thing.

Obama isn’t leading. He doesn’t know how to lead. He’s never done it before.
Because of his inexperience with leadership, Obama doesn’t know how or who to hire. He’s never done it before. All Obama is doing is dredging up Clinton re-treads, because that’s the only democrat administration he knows.
And as we all know, the Clinton administration was full of crooks.
As part of Obama’s on-the-job training for President, he’s learning that his mentors were not all that honest.
