The latest is that Daschle has withdrawn, of course.

I'll tell you what would be change. Since it appears that a huge percentage of the current and former Congressional delegation has cheated on its taxes - after all, what are the odds you only picked the tax cheats, if you want me to believe in your idea of CHANGE you will immediately order all member of Congress in both Houses to undergo full IRS audits all the way back to the Statute of Limitations (three years), along with all of their staff.
You and I know know it won't happen, but I'll tell you what - I keep hearing people say they're going to file absolute crap this year. Utter garbage. "The Dog ate my Schedule C."
If The American People do this, Mr. President, government funding will collapse. The IRS can't possibly audit everyone and we all know it.

There should be a law for anyone running for congress to have full discloser on their income and property taxes from the time they started paying taxes as a young person up until they leave office. I don’t want a tax cheat running our government.

Cobwebs, blowing dust, howling winds, oozing slime, strange critters and other unspeakable images come to mind.
I'll bet a lot of liberals will simply say ‘no’ to Obama when he comes knocking, offering a cabinet post! Frankly I'm surprised Daschle agreed to the vetting process, except these people are so used to special treatment that it never occurs to them that the hammer might fall on them.

Obama isn’t leading. He doesn’t know how to lead. He’s never done it before.
Because of his inexperience with leadership, Obama doesn’t know how or who to hire. He’s never done it before. All Obama is doing is dredging up Clinton re-treads, because that’s the only democrat administration he knows.
And as we all know, the Clinton administration was full of crooks.
As part of Obama’s on-the-job training for President, he’s learning that his mentors were not all that honest.
I tried to get this type of filing schedule movement going here a long time ago...you can take 3 extensions, holding your final payment for, I believe, almost 1 year.....I may be wrong. But...payment can be delayed for a loooong time. If everyone did this, well, I'd be manic for months!

Personally, I think this is a minor issue. People screw up their taxes all the time.
BUT..
They chose to pull a “joe the plumber” on joe the plumber. And NOW...NOW THEY are getting plumbered! I love it!
