A woman who works at the local general store, angrily told the breakfast crowd, as she served them their morning coffee, eggs, pancakes, etc; that she had just found out her IRS tax refund check would be short the amount which she had received in the last "stimulus" check..she had expected $1200 and was only getting around $900.

I want my $93,000 a year cover my expenses. $10 a week is $520 a year? The royals of Congress think they are worth way more than that. We get $520 a year, they get $93,000 a year? And it all comes out of the same pocket....which ain't their pocket!

Last time they too many people saved the money and it did not have the desired affect which made the socialists in Congress angry, so this time they want to dole it out $10 a week thinking people will not want to save the such a small amount each week. We should start a movement to do exactly that and added another $10 to amount saved

What they are doing with the stimulus package is shameful. With the current stimulus package the Democrats are condemning future generations to fiscal slavery. SHAME ON THEM!

OTOH, here's the correct winner from the Republicans:

"Congress declares a National Dividend in the amount of $9,000 per taxpayer instead of Porkulus."

That would be cheaper, and very difficult for Dems to fight. The Dems get to win due to the numbers. But that proposal will make their win as painful as possible among voters who would vastly prefer the $9K.
