Some of these posters (some of whose comments you've already pulled) should be ashamed of themselves, and they're not even trying to clean up their act in later comments. It would be one thing if it were all done with humor, but some of this is just plain mean and nasty.
I suggest you pull the thread. This sort of stuff doesn't speak well of the forum and only feeds misconceptions about conservatives.

Black humor has been around since the Garden of Eden. It often serves as a welcome and humorous release from the tensions that surround the failures, disappointments, incongruities, tragedies and hypocracies found in life and in the human condition.
It's been employed as a literary device by the greatest writers in history.
At some time, you may want to read up about the psychological function of black humor. You can find such analysis on the internet.
No one is corrupted by black humor except those already corrupted.
