Here is video of commentator John Ridley presenting an opinion piece in which he asserts that Barack Obama is "the first true American President." He says "Obama is the more perfect union", "the hot light of a dawn the goes way beyond 'Morning in America." "Quite simply just by virtue of his being, Obama is America."

Oh brother! This is Obama as Messiah run amok! . . . . . (watch video)

This is like something from a cheap “romance” novel.

This is seriously creepy, bizarre, and downright outlandish stuff- like nothing I've ever seen before in America, at this level. Pet rocks were kind of fun- this kind of fun is going to end badly, for some.

Obama’s Little Blue Book and the Egg of Power

January 26, 2009 10:19 PM by Michelle Malkin

Tons of people have e-mailed about the Little Blue Book of Obama sayings that a firm called the History Company is hawking on its website. Yes, they really are selling them in 10-packs for $49.50 — and yes, the resemblance to Mao’s Little Red Book is striking. Weirdly, “Pocket Obama” has a plain blank cover and smacks of a gag — especially the last line: " It is an unofficial requirement for every citizen to own, to read, and to carry this book at all times." Unofficial for now.

"As someone who bought and read Mao’s Thoughts (The Little Red Book) cover to cover several times to know my enemy, I find Obama’s Little Blue Book creepy to the point of being frightening."90 Comments | 6 Trackbacks

Chairman O...

Schlock value. Mookie, thank you for the heads-up on the Chia Obama. Is it some sort of sign when even Obama voters are taking note of the schlock?

Say wha … ? [Darleen Click] UPDATED

My post on Obama Art was fun in what eventually was a creepy sort of way.

Benign creepy.

Then there is the Only in El-Lay stuff.

This weekend was our first with new president Barack Obama and Los Angeles celebrated the only way it knew how with sold out rock concerts, orgies, jam-packed art openings, film screenings and more. Sunday morning I awoke to find my apartment floor scattered with an array of party favors like Obama condoms and Chinese herb aphrodisiac supplements from the party I had attended the night before, the Eros Day X “Orgy for Obama” Inauguration Ball presented by Dr. Susan Block.

Here’s the NSFW slideshow of the event. Not really anything too graphic but I’d also warn you of the gag reflex. Orgies in real life don’t attract the — how shall I put this? — most attractive people.

Via Kat comes another NSFW alert of this Commemorative Barry Dildo.

It doesn’t appear that The One needs $850 billion to stimulate some portion of America.

UPDATE: Unrelated save for the “Only in CA” connection: Berzerkley

Berkeley’s public library will face a showdown with the city’s Peace and Justice Commission tonight over whether a service contract for the book check-out system violates the city’s nuclear-free ordinance.

The dispute centers on a five-year, $63,000 contract the library wants to sign with 3M, an international technology company based in Minnesota, to service five scanner machines library patrons use to check out books.

But 3M, a company with operations in 60 countries, refused to sign Berkeley’s nuclear-free disclosure form as required by the Nuclear Free Berkeley Act passed by voters in 1986.

These people are truly insane. They are absolutely in love with Obama. Honestly, this is very scary because the German people did the same thing with Hitler. Most of all, remember that Hitler was not a German, but the German people were in awe of him, which eventually led them to destruction.

Yeah.

George Washington fought a WAR against a world power at his time.

Abraham Lincoln fought a WAR to keep the union together.

Obama’s NOTHING really stacks up against those things....
