Rush is first and foremost an entertainer, and if he could make more money as a left winger, he would change teams in a heartbeat and become the most popular lefty in the history of talk radio.

that may be the most ill informed statement I've seen in 9 years here

3) Sean....he carries water all the time like him or not

4) Laura....she does ok for a gal....radio voice is harder for them

5) Andrew Wilcow ...newbie

Well...at least Boortz is honest...he’s over paid and under talented.

Beck is more entertaining, I agree, and is very prepared. He has been far ahead of the curve than even Rush or anyone else.

Agree....does Rush still say he’s the cutting edge of societal evolution?....at one time he was...his show runs on fumes as far as i’m concerned...i think Rush has been fabulously wealthy for so long that he’s insulated...i wonder if he buys his own groceries or pumps his own gas...just curious.

I love Rush, but one of my gripes about him is his blatant profiteering. His 24/7 has the documentation you mention, but you have to pay to get to it.

Otherwise known as capitalism. Quite a popular concept with some conservatives.

As a 24/7 subscriber, it is my opinion that Rush undercharges for his website.

Popular with me too.

If Rush is concerned with our future, why charge admission to the ammo dump? He should be arming everyone with the tools needed to counter the rabid left.

1. Rush Limbaugh
2. Glenn Beck
3. Laura Ingram
4. Sean Hannity (excellent interview sometimes puts him at 2, or even 1 then)

Virtual tie for spots 5-9, but this is my order which could shift day by day:
5. Neal Boortz
5. Mark Levin
5. Mike Gallagher
5. Hugh Hewitt
5. Michael Medved

10. Mike Savage on a typical bad day when I turn the dial after ten minutes. He’s #3 on his good days, about #8 otherwise.

The only way Hannity stays above those tied for 5th is by virtue of his interviews, which sometimes stink because he steps on the guest, but at other times are very illuminating. At those times, no one does it better, and it is too bad Rush doesn’t have more interviews, in my view.

I find Laura to be highly shrill, with a tendency to overuse the word “elitist.” I am also highly suspicious of anyone who feels the need to wear a cross that big.

Rush: There is NO equal.

Boortz has his good days and his bad days.

The only problem I have with Laura’s show is the damned music she plays is by the very idiots she says “shut up and sing” to. I want ‘em to just SHUT UP and not sing. That aggravates me. She plays their damned music and I turn the radio off at that point. Other than that, she’s pretty smart.
