Oh they are serious, and there are 1.5 million of the kool aid drinkers who are online.
SO my advice, protect your computers and keep your personal information LOCKED away.
Think about what we’ve actually seen dancing in the streets for Barack...that is enough for anyone to know we’re dealing with thugs.
No, “Semper Paratus” is the US Coast Guard motto meaning “Always Prepared”. I only point that out to honor my Dad’s many years of service with the “Coasties”.
I agree with a poster that it is a 1st amendment issue and if they really want to start the 2nd Civil War, please do so..
they will do what they want...there will never be a second civil war. Too much bread and circus.
This article is pretty paranoid, about the site being taken down. I don’t think that is going to happen. Even if there were an outage, the internet is a slippery, global thing that is not easily quashed — even all-controlling commie China still cannot manage to block everything from the web. In the worst case scenario, JimRob could probably find an ISP willing to host FR, and I would hope that he is backing up the site — backups are just good practice.
However, EVERYONE would be well advised that anything written or shared on the internet, INCLUDING private email (unless you use PGP or other encryption system), should be presumed to be possibly made public at any time. So, be aware. Do not share in email anything you would not be comfortable sharing with the entire world. A former co-worker of mine recently found out about this the hard way when an email she thought was sent to a private mailing list was published in a widely-read blog.
Be careful out there.
FROM OUR COLD, DEAD TYPING FINGERS.
Did you even read my post ???
Haha, haven’t heard that before. Birthers = birth certificate conspirators + truthers? I like it.
Hey, they are true patriots and they mean well. Besides, they’re giving a voice to the people who are trying to do something about the birth certificate and natural born citizen situation. They will probably fail, but at least they are trying.
Cass Sunstein is the leader (I bet) -- and boy is he a nut (IMO)! Wants government to force people to read what they would not otherwise be the least bit interested in -- a threat to democracy if they just read FR and not read what he feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels.
zactly.
i think they are going thru my trash now. have to end . i think i am being watched by the dog. he is in on it. trust no one.
**This just took tinfoil hats to a whole new level.**
After MULLAH HUSSEIN’s attack on RUSH, the thought of such attacks DID cross my MIND, but not enough for me to publicly make an A** of myself!
Mmmm...pot roast!
Just looking at this e-mail dispassionately, I’d say it has all the hallmarks of urban myth. That’s not to disregard this e-mail as without value, though. Bear with me on this.
The e-mail sounds like urban myth because of its presentation - a friend I can trust told me, the e-mail inside the e-mail, the use of a well-known person’s name to bolster the authenticity of the message, the admonision to pass it on. I’m giving it about a 90-10 chance of not being factual.
However, it is real. The themes in this e-mail reflect deeply held fears among many people, which allows it to be passed on. The e-mail is like a metaphorical Gallup poll. There’s a lot of anxiety and fear about what this guy is going to do, and there’s a lot of apprehension about violent action. (Another example of these fears is the persistent statements I keep hearing from people that they are concerned Obama will be assassinated in office.)
Apparently things will get worse, from here on. God help us.
Well .. the attack on Joe the plumber came from inside the Georgia state offices.
Maybe they didn’t take down his computer .. but their snooping was totally illegal and the lady and whoever ordered her to do the dirty work should be sitting in jail.
Speaking of that. Do you or any others know WHY FR has been so slow lately. I noticed it happening during the One's coronation day but it has been that way ever since. Just wondering.
Y2K hysteria redux. Let’s remain lucid.
I guess. They are spending a lot of energy on a losing battle, though.
Weren't they the source for that fouled up story about the 'birth certificate' law suit in Texas?
Yes, they are trying but in their attempt to try they are putting out information that they know to be false.
As you may recall, Plains Radio claimed they had a copy of a Mama Obama divorce decree that stated the her son Barack was born in Kenya.
However, when they finally posted the divorce decree it said nothing of the sort.
True Patriots do not have to lie to accomplish a goal.
