Is anyone actually surprised?

The simple ugly truth of the previous election is we didn’t have much of a choice, and outside of the actually prosecution of the war with the terrorists, there isn’t much of a difference between McLame and Obama.

They both ‘pretended’ throughout the election cycle we just witnessed.

Obama pretended to be a ‘centrist’ despite his voting record.

McLame pretended to be a ‘conservative’ despite his voting record.

Obama said he wanted to raise taxes, but now says no.

McLame said he wanted to lower taxes, but voted against it twice.

The list is pretty freakin endless.

I have to ask God’s forgiveness for voting for McCain. Well, maybe not. I didn’t actually vote for him. I voted for Palin.

I think they intended to work together from the beginning.

To avoid being damaged should Obama attack McCain (making McCain less effective as an ally in the Senate), Palin was put up as a punching bag (and everyone from Obama to Matthews to the Animal Control Officer in El Segundo piled on with glee).

Obama rarely went after McCain, and McCain criticized other Republicans more than he criticized Obama. He even went out of his way to defend Obama.

And all the while Palin was compared to Obama, never to Biden!

Republican Commissar’s Warning: By joining this ping list, you may be subjected to the delusional rants and ramblings of McCainiacs, of "moderate" Republicans, of pragmatic conservatives resigned to voting for the lesser of two Democrats, and of countless GOP shills who simply want to meet a new overlord.
