I have never seen such sycophancy in my life. Lickspittle is the only word I know that comes anywhere near capturing the level of toadyism we are witnessing. And don't let these people tell you that its because of the historic nature of the inauguration of America's first black president. If Sarah Palin runs and wins in 2012, you and I know full well that there won't be this kind of coverage for the first female president.

"If Sarah Palin runs and wins in 2012, you and I know full well that there won't be this kind of coverage for the first female president."

No kidding! More likely we'd see a bunch of hand-wringing about whether the mother of a special needs child should really take on such a tremendous responsibility as presiding over such a powerful nation as the United States.

Assuming, of course, that the US is still a powerful nation by that time.

The fourth estate turned fith column enemy of We The People is merely spewing the ‘spittlegeist’ of our age, brought on by the dumbing down of the voters and constant growth of the dole system keeping democraps in offcie.

I coined it to describe the sycophantic fawning of the media, and alternately, their herd mentality attacking anything Bush, anything Iraq, anything war on terrorists. Borrowed from ‘zeitgeist’, but rather than ‘time’ I’m inserting spittle, as in ‘the useless cast-off/mouth foam of the faux journalists of our age’.
