We voted for change. So let's go ahead and abandon everything that founded this nation and made it great and HAVE change.
Let's start with the Declaration of Independence. Let's "change" it.
"We are here today not simply to pay tribute to those patriots who founded our nation in Philadelphia or defended it in Baltimore, but to take up the cause for which they gave so much. The trials we face are very different now, but severe in their own right. Only a handful of times in our history has a generation been confronted with challenges so vast. An economy that is faltering. Two wars, one that needs to be ended responsibly, one that needs to be waged wisely. When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.Let us not forget that Barack Hussein Obama (it's okay now: "The Obama" has decreed that it is NOT blasphemy to invoke his middle name after all) spent 23 years in a church whose pastor screamed the following as his fellow congregants stood up to cheer and shout their affirmation:
No, no, no! Not God bless America. God damn America!So you can readily understand why Obama would want a "new" Declaration of Independence that nowhere mentions God or the Judeo-Christian worldview that our founders grounded their separation from England upon.
Follow the obvious logical progression of the "old" Declaration of Independence. God - as our Creator and Sustainer - endowed men with certain fundamental and inalienable rights. The king of England was denying the American colonies these inalienable rights. Therefore America had the right to separate from the king and from England.
But Obama's "new Declaration of Independence" does not need God and does not want Him. Let us simply call it what it is: the Declaration of Independence from God, or - better yet - the "God Damn America Declaration of Independence."
I've been preaching this sermon well before I wrote, "Obama Wins! God Damn America!" on election night. It does not surprise me for a single nanosecond that a man who spent 23 years in a blatantly racist, anti-American, and profoundly anti-Christian church would call for a "new" Declaration of Independence.
We can also realize that the Declaration of Independence that Obama now wants to replace also implies another reality: the reality that a government that replaces God is a tyrannous institution. It is a somber note of warning to any bureaucrat that views government - rather than God - as savior.
You can understand why Obama - who fundamentally believes that ONLY government can save us, and who passionately believes that a gigantic government bureaucracy that intrudes into absolutely every aspect of our lives - would want to see that "old" Declaration of Independence as well as the "old" America itself go the way of the dinosaur.
There is one other thing about Obama's smarmy, arrogant brand of elitist liberalism that should make any morally-centered human being want to vomit. Obama says he wants a new declaration of independence "from ideology and small thinking, prejudice and bigotry." And implicit in that demand is that it is others - and never himself - who have ideology and the rest of the bag of things he wants us to be "independent" from.
That's right. Obama doesn't have any "ideology." Only his opponents do. And only his opponents are "small minded."
Barack Obama is an arrogant fool who does not understand his own ideology, and his own commitment to ideological positions. It is morally insane for a Barack Obama to claim that his position that babies who survived abortion should still be killed by means of denying medical treatment is somehow NOT ideological, while my own pro-life position IS ideological. I can say the same thing about Obama's mandate that the military should be forced to embrace homosexuality. If I may say it, it is incredibly "small minded" of Barack Obama to think something so patently ridiculous.
And a declaration from "prejudice and bigotry"? I shouldn't have to mention the recent incredibly racist and prejucicial diatribe issued from Obama supporters like Bobby Rush damning everyone who wanted to prevent tainted Blagojevich pick to fill Obama's Senate seat as a "racist" who wants to "lynch" black people and force them back to the "plantation" days. We can add to that list Obama supporter John Lewis' mind-bogglingly hateful racist tirade against John McCain, and then consider Obama's own repeated use of the race card to undermine his opponents (e.g., hearken back to Obama's "And did I mention hes black? insinuations).
It would seem that independence from "prejudice and bigotry" would necessarily mean "independence from Obama and his prejudiced and bigoted Democrats."
In addition to Obama's heinous and despicable hostility to the views of our founding fathers and the worldview that made this country great - demonstrated by his own words and positions as well as by the words and positions of his pastor and his church - Barack Obama embodies an appalling lack of intellectual honesty.
What he can’t tolerate:

You know, I am a HUGE “fan” of the RevWar, and so-called “1812” war. I live near Baltimore and am very aware of the INCREDIBLE stand made by EVERYONE in the “mob city” at that time against ALL the Brits (it is NOT just Ft. McHenry and the “Star-Spangled Banner”).
It SICKENS me whenever any Democrat talks about those “challenges” in political terms, especially.
To even compare facing the greatest country in the world in defiance and rebellion, to “challenges so vast” as alleged economic woes (vague, as yet, for most of us) and the non-existent “warming” (I still don’t get that) is vacuous, not to mention incomprehensible - but REPrehensible.
As for his “independence” - HAH! He even had the gall to say “from selfishness”. 1st off, how is sucking off the government teat either “independent” OR selfless? (No-one ever wants to call taking welfare “selfish”.)

Yes, it takes big, grand plans, grand thinking, and an inconceivably big ego to think you're in the same class as the founding fathers. Here's a hint O, you're not.
Supposedly Jefferson himself did indeed write “unalienable”. However, he was wrong (as he was on many things).
Studying Greek & Latin roots, “alien” is Greek and thus, must mate with a G/L type prefix, such as “in-”.
“Un-” is a Germanic (the true base of English) prefix form and thus does not match with a Greek root.
Quite the contrary; the Founders are ROLLING in their graves...not just at yet another communist (common since at least FDR), but at the SICKENING paper-hanging and worshipping displayed by so many sheep.

I am reminded that nearly 60% of Obama voters had no idea that Democrats have been in complete control of Congress for nearly two years as the country went from prosperity to disaster. This gentleman explains how we managed to elect the worst president in American history at a moment when we needed one of the best.
