Ingraham has a good review of President Bush's eight years:
Positive: victory over a defeated Al Qaeda.
Negative: an economy today that looks like 1979; a new battle by private businesses against selfish-government leaders (just like in the 1980's).

No matter how President Bush has kept America from being attacked after 9/11, the Progressive Marxist Left of this nation will never give this man the credit he deserves.
Laura Ingraham for all her support should not be blaming Bush for the machinations of the Democratic Party in engineering this financial debacle that we are facing today. Bush did attempt to offset and fight the mortgage crisis but was rebuffed and blocked by the Democrats each time the effort was made.
It's too late now, because the Left Wing Democrats will hide and obfuscate any active part they played in the affair.
See Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd, and Chuck Schumer as the felons in this debacle.
Funny isn't it, Obama was elected President and suddenly gas prices are back to 2003 levels. But for how long?

Dead right-on. Bush’s legacy will be written by historians, not the NYT or CNN. She made a good point by saying it’s a shame that Bush did not engage with the media sooner to defend himself, rather than “staying above the fray” as O’Reilly put it. He deserves blame for the aspects of the war that could have gone better, and credit for the many positives - but NONE of the blame for the financial mess. We can only hope history judges Frank, Schumer, Dodd and the rest with all the harshness they deserve.
