President-elect Barack Obama and his family move into Blair House today, across the street from the White House at 1651 Pennsylvania Avenue. Blair House is essentially the Presidential Guest House, comprised actually of four connected townhouses. Here is a video report about Blair House, with some fascinating information. Blair House is actually larger that the White House, the report says, with 14 guest rooms and 35 bathrooms (?), and a rich in history. It is traditional for the President-elect to move into Blair House on January 15 in advance of the inauguration on January 20. . . . . (watch video)
