Actually bo posted that fact that he is unqualified as per NBC clause when he admitted that his father was a Kenyan/British citizen.
Furthermore, the burden of proof is on the candidate, the DNC and the various Secretaries of State.
And yes the duty to uphold the Constitution is on anyone who takes the oath.
In order to get his name on the ballot in the course of the primaries and the general election, Obama was NOT required by any state or federal agency to produce what any of we peasants must produce to:
Get a driver’s license
Apply for Social Security
Apply for a Passport
... and the list goes on and on
And yet according to your idiotic logic that “Nobody has produced any proof that Obama is not legally qualified”, we should all be able to do these things with a fraudulent computer-generated COLB. But you see, we can’t. We have to produce legitimate long-form certified birth certificates.
So you are supporting what we have: two classes of people: One set of rules for we peasants (and for Republicans aspiring to higher office, I might add). And another set for the Democrat ruling class.

But beside that FACT, Article II Section I makes it incumbent upon the candidate to prove his/her Constitutional eligibility for the office they seek. The burden of proof is upon the candidate, not the naysayer.
If nobody asks the question, it is assumed. But many have asked the question, which means in this case, eligibility is in doubt, at which point, it is the duty of the candidate to lay all doubts to rest.
Instead of doing that, he has spent a million bucks running from the question. People who hide things usually have something to hide.
He has spent a million bucks to avoid delivering a $10.00 certified copy of his birth records. And you see no reason to doubt?

Chief Justice Roberts is an incredibly intelligent and gifted legal mind. He, and his clerks, have access to the same information as everyone else.
So, if he does not see any issue with Obama's eligibility, that pretty much settles it for me.
