The document Fukino and Okubo inspected was an email from PolitiFact of the BC Barry posted on the web in June. From PolitiFact look at what the conclusion actually was (in bold) when she was pressed, hardly a verification of the validity of the document:
The Hawaii Department of Health receives about a dozen e-mail inquiries a day about Obama’s birth certificate, spokesman Okubo said. “I guess the big issue that’s being raised is the lack of an embossed seal and a signature,” Okubo said, pointing out that in Hawaii, both those things are on the back of the document. “Because they scanned the front … you wouldn’t see those things.” Okubo says she got a copy of her own birth certificate last year and it is identical to the Obama one we received. And about the copy we e-mailed her for verification? “When we looked at that image you guys sent us, our registrar, he thought he could see pieces of the embossed image through it.” Still, she acknowledges: “I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”

What are the underlying cases involving this citation?
Finally, nothing prevents BHO from simply granting Berg and the rest of the world access to his vault copy. If there was nothing there then he would?
Berg recently stated in an interview that he believes certain individuals have either seen or have a copy of said vault copy of BHO's CoLB. Berg believes this is the reason why he has appointed the entire Clinton administration to his cabinet including HRC. Berg believes that BHO will do what he is told by the establishment types who know that he is a usurper. They now own BHO lock stock and barrel. He is their willing slave, and he will do whatever they tell him to do. That's why he hasn't said anything about Gaza or anything else. And he won't until and unless he is told to do so. So much for Change and Hope.

All this time, I thought and assumed that the U.S. Constitution clearly said that the burden of proof was on the president-elect to prove that he was eligible to be President of the United States.

LJ, sometimes I think the eligibility obfuscators that plague FR are actually people who have citizenship issues of their own, or possibly in their families. So they take the position of “let’s move forward,” possibly for that reason...or perhaps they simply ARE trolls. Some of them sure have been around FR for a long time, though!

But if the American people do try to disprove his eligibility, they are told that they don’t have standing to do so.
Would’nt it be fuuny for some one to go to the court house in Hawaii and get a hold of some not-so-smart person and just actually have them give you a copy of the BC? I know it has been done before from experience.
I think it’s pretty clear that others control 0bama. He is what they used to call a “cipher”. He is a shadow puppet. An evil one, though - not just lifeless paper. He will become more and more angry about this as time goes on. It will be interesting to watch the crackup.
I know of two very vocal ones who do indeed have citizenship “issues” of their own. Velveeta, OTOH, had an interesting story to tell on another thread, about her own citizenship “issues” and what the INS position was - that because she was born before her parents were naturalized as US citizens, even though she herself was born on US soil, she could never become president. (Correct me if I got it wrong, Vel!)

As an interesting aside, while I’ve always known that I’m not eligible to run for POTUS, my brother who was born after my parents’ naturalization is eligible.
Hopefully silly season won’t last too much longer. The Truthers are trying mightily to keep this afloat, no matter how many other sound voices, like Michelle Malkin;
