Information scientist, author and evangelist, Dr Werner Gitt, a close friend of CMI, told us that on 23 October 2008 he was subjected to the most strident opposition he had ever encountered...

You are getting way far off your topic/s, you have not supplied any examples to work with, and you are adding more and more off topic demands in.
That's a strange contradiction. How do you know which is better if you didn't check out the thread?
IIRC my first post was to the article at the head of the thread and directed at the poster. And then suddenly here you were (poking fun at me for a religious scruple of mine that forbids me to spell out the names of false "gxds" like the "Dolly Llama") and you won't go away. I also maintain that you only felt safe to do this because you thought I was a chr*stian. Are you in the habit of making fun of hindus for being vegetarians?
Is there something about living in a trailer park you think makes people "safe targets"?
I believe I have made my meaning clear. Why you persist in pretending you don't get it is perhaps self-explanatory.
You mean as long as I "acknowledge" that religion is subjective ethno-cultural moral philosophy illustrated by mythology and has no bearing whatsoever upon the "real world?"
I mean exactly what I said.
And for the umpteenth time I observe that you seem very particular about whose "religion" offends you when it "intrudes" into the public sphere. Doubtless you'd regard the implementation of sharia law as a welcome sign of de-chr*stianization and "secularization."
Do you disagree with the Constitutional restraints on making religious tests a requirement for holding public office?
I'm saying that the only reason it's wrong to steal or murder is because there is a G-d Who has forbidden it, and that the rationale that these laws exist solely to ensure the smooth functioning of a meaningless society in a meaningless universe is insufficient and inherently based on the authority of men rather than the authority of G-d. As long as somebody's going to be bossing somebody around, it might as well be the only One with a valid excuse for doing the bossing.
And our entire American system was flawed from the beginning because it was contaminated by eighteenth century rationalism and deism, that I am a Theocrat, that I await the arrival of the true Davidic Mashiach who will rule the world from Jerusalem and enforce the laws of G-d, and that in the meantime, however unenforced these laws are, they are still in force.

Was I incorrect to take your assessment of their behavior at face value?
You seem reluctant to click on the link and check it out for yourself. I wonder why. Do you fear it will bring back bad memories?
I don’t have the time to read a long discussion. A superficial reading would not allow the time required to understand fully the dynamics of the discussion.
That's a strange contradiction. The discussion you are currently reading is over 428 posts long.
The term "Dolly Llama" seemed odd, and I questioned it. Is that "religious scruple" personal or doctrinal? You never really made it clear why you were using the term. It could have been inadvertent, or an intentional expression of disprespect, but it was impossible to tell from the context of the original post.
de-chr*stianization
Is that a typo, or another attempt to avoid using the names of what you call "false gxds"?
That is some fine advice. I think I will retire from the computer business now. Been at it for over twenty years now. I am going fishin’ and I will enjoy the creations of God. While I am enjoying God's creations, I won't have to listen to the people who try and make a monkey out of me.

You aren't making the fallacious assumption that the existence of complex bacterial genetics means that it must have 'evolved', are you?
And I didn’t have to read it all at once.
Why do you consider such an assumption to be fallacious?
lol He may be doing just that. Probably turning blue right now.
I've been told explicitly in the past that that any characterization of the position of creationists as wanting to establish a theorcracy is wrong, that the argument is a "strawman" because there simply are no proponents of theocracy among the creationists. Was I mis-informed?
I am serious. And don't call me Shirley.
You can't be serious that the smooth functioning of a society that has arisen in a meaningless universe is sufficient grounds for making rules and then imprisoning or frying those who break them.
Is that a typo, or another attempt to avoid using the names of what you call "false gxds"?
Since I told you that explicitly in my second post to you but you apparently took this long to figure it out on your own, I assume you haven't been reading my posts. So there seems little reason to waste further time arguing with you.

1)The universe, having been created by G-d, is a Theocracy already.
2)Since all a Theocracy does is basically provide a valid excuse for the laws we already have (murder and theft violate a law of the Creator of the Universe, not merely a "spontaneous social contract" that has arisen in a meaningless universe), then what are you complaining about? Does the person locked up for life in a cage or fried in an electric chair (neither of which punishment you will find in the Bible, btw) suffer more because he's being punished for violating a Divine law than he would for disrupting the smooth functioning of a meaningless society in your worldview? At least the person executed in a Theocracy dies for a reason.
3)Some chr*stians are "theocrats," some are not. I'm not a chr*stian, and there's no mitigation of my Theocratic worldview.
4)Let me know when you consider islamic "theocracy" a threat.
