I read both books BHO supposedly authored, "The Audacity of Hope", and "Dreams From My Father". I found both to be stultifyingly boring. BHO's favorite topic is, of course, himself. But we still learn very little about what this many has actually ever really accomplished. For someone who likes to write about himself and has the MSM literally feeding out of his hand, BHO has really accomplished next to nothing.
I would find it more interesting to learn exactly how he got into prestigious universities such as Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard. Was it due to his stellar academic achievenments, his phenomenal SAT scores, or some fantastic extra-curricular accomplishment or an unusually high GPA? I tend to doubt it. My guess is affirmative action and preferential treatment--the same type of treatment he gets from the MSM. Of course BHO could prove me wrong instantly if he simply agreed to release his college transcripts. I would also been interested to see the transcript of his thesis at Columbia. Of course that will never happen. BHO won't even release the transcripts of his stint in the Illinois state senate which you think would be public in any event. Of course we still don't even have a valid copy of a legitimate birth certificate.
Now why BHO would write a book about his father is really beyond me. BHO Sr. abandoned BHO as a baby and only saw him once a number of years later for a brief time. To the best of my knowledge, BHO Sr never paid child support or helped the family in any way. In fact, the man seemed to have multiple wives and families on both sides of the Atlantic all at the same time. BHO's mother--Stanley Ann Dunham-- (who in their right name would name a female Stanley?)--seems to have penchant for Muslim men. Her next husband was a Muslim from Indonesia and both she and BHO gave up their American citizenship to move to that country. Did BHO ever regain his U.S. citizenship? Or did he ever have it to begin with? His maternal grandmother claims to have witnessed his birth at the Coastal Hospital in Mombassa, Kenya. It sure would have been nice if BHO discussed these interesting details in his otherwise thoroughly boring books.
BHO's father was a total loser in every sense of the word. An alcoholic, bigamist, wife beating, child support evader. He was a failure as a husband, father, and in his own career as a Marxist economist whose main problem with the Kenyan government was that it wasn't Socialistic enough.
Next time BHO writes or ghost writes a book, maybe it should be about his mother and maternal grandparents. The ones who really love him, raise him, and care for him. But then again they're all caucasions and American-born at that. Not a very interesting subject for the cosmopolitan Deity-elect. Who wants to read about those kind of people?
Why they were WHITE BIGOTS of course. What's noteworthy about that?
Because he’s schizophrenic. He hates the white half of himself.
No doubt he has “identity” issues.
To succeed in Chicago politics he chose to go through Black churches for which he needed to emphasize his blackness. Not sounding like one was an impediment, an elite education was another, not having been raised by blacks yet another,..etc
I wouldn’t call “Occidental” a stellar college. It’s really at the bottom of the pile. Which of course makes the query more fascinating. How did Hussein get from “Occidental” to Columbia & Harvard? While elected Editor of the Harvard Law Review he never published a single legal note or article. This is unprecedented. Can anyone explain this? Speaking of double-standards, the MSM would have ripped Palin apart if she followed such a questionable academic trajectory.
I guess you didn't really read at least "his" first book. It's been a while now since I did read it, but I remember quite a bit in there about his mother's parents. (You know, his grandparents.) It's true the book is notable for the gaps it contains, but saying that it was boring is probably more a reflection upon you. I found it quite interesting; and judging by its sales, even before Obama officially started his run for the Presidency and the masses began to pay attention to him, many other people found it interesting too.

She never married an Arab, did she? If Islam or Muslim men mattered to her, why not marry a Saudi? And Islam doesn't seem to have been very important to either of her husbands. More likely she was into the developing world, not into Islam or Muslim men.
Do we know that Obama's mother gave up her citizenship or her son's? It's possible I guess, but how likely is it that an American woman would give up her citizenship when she married someone from an underdeveloped dictatorship?
I know the argument is that she was a left-wing America-hater. But it doesn't quite work. The military took over Indonesia about the time Obama's mother married Soetero and there was massive bloodshed. How likely is it that Stanley Ann would have given up the protection of US citizenship and affiliated herself with what was generally regarded as a right-wing regime?
ML/NJ Please defend Obama’s adoration of his deadbeat dad. And his own guilt in doing nothing for all his deadbeat dads other children.
If he has any that is.....
What I found interesting was Dr. Jerome Corsi’s book, “Obama Nation”.
He REALLY did fill in a lot of the gaps and connected a lot of the dots.
Now THAT was interesting!
You asked — “Why Didn’t BHO Write a Book About His Mother and Grandparents?”
Ummmm..., perhaps he had to get the black folks on board... :-)
banbi needed to show the white, racist left that he was not from the ‘hood. He had the black thing covered with TUCC. These books, doing nothing more than showing that he’s not really one of ‘them’ made him the acceptable negro.
I find myself unsurprised you are not a supporter of democracy.
Come on! I think you know me better than that.
There are lots of reasons to be critical of the Anointed One, but I just find it bad form for FReepers to post things here that are not true.

Neither were our Founding Fathers. That’s why they set up a Republic with limited powers. Only property owning males were permitted to vote in federal elections. Senators were wlected by state legislators, not by popular vote. Presidents were elected by the Electoral College.
Given the benefit of hindsight, I now see the wisdom of that model. You can have democracy. I want my republic back along with LIMITED government.
What did we post that wasn’t true? Oh yes, I did make one mistake: It was his PATERNAL grandmother, not his maternal grandmother who claims to have witnessed his birth in Kenya.
We?
If you want to see what I think wasn't true about what you posted go read what I wrote. My saying it again here would be useless. And if you want to challenge what I wrote, the way to do it is not by posting a complete non sequiter.

What I find amazing is that anyone ever approached him with an offer to write an autobiography!
