Sarah Palin, the Governor of Alaska, has come under pressure to respond to the discovery that staff members in her state's government had received and forwarded racist emails about President-Elect Barack Obama. One of the emails asked about the outcome of the Democrat's victory and concluded: "Another black family living in government housing!" Another, entitled "Night Befo Crizzmus," was forwarded dozens of times, according to the state's information technology division. Administration commissioner Annette Kreitzer said: "It's embarrassing to the state." Mrs Kreitzer said she alerted the office of Mrs Palin, the failed Republican vice presidential candidate in the recent election, about the emails. Bill McAllister, a spokesman for the governor, said that the matter concerned individual actions taken by a handful of state employees among thousands. But the lack of a denunciation from the governor failed to satisfy critics who have suspected her of disrespecting the African American community or of holding racist views herself. The Rev Alonzo Patterson, state chairman of the Alaska Black Leadership Conference, encouraged Mrs Palin to address the emails. "They're doing that in a state setting," he said. "She should condemn it." During the recent election campaign, Mrs Palin failed to distance herself from threatening remarks made towards Mr Obama at her rallies. At one event, her supporters shouted "kill him" and "off with his head". Emails sent included the racist comment "Another black family living in government housing!" At another rally a supporter was caught on tape declaring about Obama: "I'm afraid if he wins, the blacks will take over. He's not a Christian! Her own rhetoric was considered racially-coded by some commentators, especially when she remarked that Mr Obama was "not one of us" because he "palled around with terrorists".

You don't have to go across the pond to find trashy articles about Sarah Palin.
The natives are doing a fine job of trying to discredit her.
Fortunately, she seems to be made of stern stuff and can take it.
Political correctness run amock, as the jokes are hitting too close to home, and thin-skinned guilty parties ALWAYS complain, then.
If only in my younger days I could have sued for bullying, insults, ethnic jokes, etc., I would have retired long ago on all the "feelings hurt" lawsuits I could file today in those circumstances.
We've lost our way, America, and the thought police continue to come down upon us.....
Well, show me where that's not an accurate statement?

I urge everyone to leave a comment on the comment area below the article. I imagine once this article circulates, the hate squad will be out in full force. I left a comment there, but thus far it still hasn’t been posted.
I got that one....and I laughed at it because it is true on so many levels.
This thousand media cuts method is sooo tedious.
Basically, it’s the AP story with some additional BS, such as the debunked “Kill Him” lie.

Actually, the version I heard ended:
“Another black family moving into government housing at taxpayer expense. . . .”
