I have read this thread, and I have read the links, and I am still none the wiser what the Devil has gone on here.

Am I missing something?

Just read about it on WND site:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=83865

Is distributing food outside the normal channels a ‘lethal force’ issue now, requiring JBTs? The Ohio Dept of Agg needs to be made to pay dearly for this!!!

“Contact the “Vote Freedom First” President George W. Bush and ask him how this will look on his legacy!” is more than a little melodramatic. Do you believe that GWB directs local law enforcement in Ohio?

It would be interesting to hear the other side of the story. Maybe the independent farmer's family is getting too much business. The local merchants seem to be using the swat team to keep down the competition.

Do not shoot the messenger. This is a link to blog.

As to your question I certainly think some of these SWAT raids rise to the level of civil rights violations and the President has the power to order investigations of abuse "under the color of law".

George W. is also Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces and whenever an active duty service member's family is harassed with some strange political shenanigans, the President, once again, has the power and duty to attend to the morale of the troops by assuring them their families are safe.

Best regards,

No more than the rest of us. I have never heard of a "food raid" and certainly can not imagine why ordinary people are terrorized for what may be little more than the equivalent of a parking ticket.

The Youtube Video is somewhat poignant if your computer is up to the bandwidth requirements.

18USC240 and 18USC242 are part of the Federal Criminal Code. These people are alleging that their Civil Rights were violated under false color of authority.

That's a Federal crime carry a punishment of up to life imprisonment if a firearm was used. And it does appear that firearms were used.

Best,
