Todays politically correct move in the UK is telling Christmas charity workers not to shake their rattles out of fear of offending other religions. How long will it be until the politically correct there call for a complete ban of Christmas? Because it seems that is the direction that they are heading in.

Their folks should tell the unnamed “authorities” to go eff themselves, and tell the workers to ring louder/offend away.
In the good old days we had lynch mobs that kept things in order and any potentially belligerent minorities in their place.

most of the ‘charities’ that rattle the cash collection boxes and stuff are rackets anyway. Never ever give to collectors on the street, only do so through the internet or in regional offices.
Anyone can register a charity and claim up to 99% of the funds given as ‘costs’, so its always necessary to check the small print.
Now, if a homeless bloke tries to sell you the Big Issue, then you know its a good deal, so you are getting something for your money. He is employed, and such systems are better than salving ones conscience by throwing money into a bucket.
It’s not the rattles that offend the “other” religions. It’s the Christians shaking them. With the Jews in Germany, it started as “you cannot worship openly”. Then it was “you cannot worship in private”. Then it was “you cannot live among us”. Then it was “you cannot live”.
