The champagne flute has historically thought to have been modelled on MA’s breasts.

“The champagne flute has historically thought to have been modelled on MAs breasts.”
I thought they were modeled after Josephine, Napoleon’s sister (who is known to have posed for artists).

I just picked it up as a Christmas gift. Mom’s gonna love it.

First off, anybody who had breasts shaped like champagne flutes wouldn't be inspiring much of anybody.

The champagne coupe might have been modeled on a breast, but it dates back to at least a hundred years before Marie Antoinette or Josephine.

Perhaps one of the few, if not only, times in Karl’s life that he was inspired by the female breast.

Actually, Empress Josephine was Napoleon’s wife.
It was his sister Pauline Bonaparte who when asked how could she pose in the nude, replied “Why not? It wasn’t cold. There was a fireplace in the studio.”
(Look up the Canova nude. Nothing wrong with those perkies.)
And it was the headmistress of the School of Love in Paris, Ninon de Lenclos, who was asked what was considered an adequate size for a woman’s breasts.
She answered,
“Enough to fill the hand of an honest man!”
