PRESS RELEASE from the Office of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 10, 2007

Statement from Governor Rod R. Blagojevich

“On this historic day, I am pleased to join many Illinoisans who are excited and proud to support Senator Obama in his bid for the Presidency. I know that Senator Obama will fight to make sure that working families have access to health care, good paying jobs, and opportunities to provide for their children. Senator Obama supports the very best of these Democratic values; they are values that he and I share, values I know he will fight for.

“Senator Obama has the vision, skills and dedication necessary to bring people together and make real progress in Washington to help solve our country’s greatest and most pressing problems. Senator Obama offers real hope for the American people and I am proud to give him my support.

“I want to take this opportunity on this historic day to urge the Legislature to immediately send me a bill to move our state’s primary from March 18, 2008 to February 5, 2008. That will give Illinois voters an opportunity to send an early message in support of Senator Obama and send him to victory.”

The MSM is saying that Blago and Obama didn't get along--that they were political enemies. BS

I’d think one of these people up for consideration for the senate seat didn’t like the price, and set up ol’ blag.

"I was only 8 years old."

"That question is above my pay grade."

"He was just a guy in my neighborhood."

"I can no more disown him that I can my own grandmother."

Lol.

Sure, the MSM is trying to brainwash America yet again.

Their ratings are going down and the job is already becoming a handful once again with President-elect Obama and his very corrupt associations.

Get some Popcorn, in for another drama fest.

Keep focused on Obama’s citizenship though, this guy can’t be inaugurated or hold POTUS. Not only he is inelgible, but as corrupt as they come.

Maybe it's the recorded phone calls where Blago calls Obama a "motherf---er" and repeatedly says he can "f--- himself."

Then again, maybe that's how people talk about their friends in Chicago. Also, the reports are saying that Rahm Emmanuel called Patrick Fitzgerald and told him that Blago was soliciting bribes.

Don't hang your Fitzmas stockings yet.

Maybe now that Obama has power, he told Blaogo to take a hike?

With a little research you should also be able to find the following:

* Obama statement endorsing Blago for re-election in 2006

* Obama statement endorsing Blago for election in 2002

* Blago statement endorsing Obama for U.S. Senate election in 2004

I want to know what Obama’s approval numbers are. The media wants him in office NOW, as in change the constitution and make him president already (forget about any transition or electoral college).

So let’s get started on poll numbers. They will go down and we should know the benchmark numbers.
