Al Qaeda and Saddam linked - new evidence
http://lfairmont.wordpress.com/ ^ | 12/8/2008 | Right Winger

I had posted about this before. I wrote an article last March that was published on American Thinker. I just completed my book The Link: The Secret Relationship between Saddam and al Qaida. For more info: http://lfairmont.wordpress.com/

My agent is looking for a traditional publisher, but in the meantime I have self-published. The book is primarily sourced from Iraqi documents retrieved by the US military in Iraq. The media has suppressed the truth. I have Saddam talking about al Qaida being in Iraq in 1995. I have new evidence about WMDs and Saddam saying he gave the order for the 1993 World Trade Center attack.

Bush has pretty much said he was wrong about WMD in Iraq...., so if the President and leader of our own Republican Party says that, you’re not going to get much traction out of the idea... LOL...

Furthermore (and after looking at that video of the WMDs), our present Administration (i.e., the Bush Administration) has already admitted that they made a mistake about the WMDs — and — that very same government has all the documents that you’re talking about.

So, it would appear that they are saying that these documents are not true....

You’re not going to overcome the President of the United States and the leader of the Republican Party, disputing the fact that there were WMDs in Iraq...

What Bush did wrong was ever letting the WMD question become the overrated idea of the invasion. The reason we went to war with Iraq was Bush 41 had a cease fire with Saddam, and he consistently violated it. The UN had 17 resolutions warning Saddam of dire consequences if he didn't follow the terms of the cease fire and the Congress backed Bush up with a vote. WMD’s were thought to have been in Iraq but Saddam threw the UN lookers out. Clinton did nothing about it, he did nothing about the first World Trade Center bombing, The 2 African embassy bombings, and finally, an attack on an American warship was left unanswered.

The question of WMD's was just a portion of the excuse to CONTINUE the previous war named Desert Storm. Everyone knew Saddam had Chemical weapons and was working on Biologicals. We also KNEW he had gotten yellowcake from Africa. After the war was under control, we removed 500 tons of yellowcake from Iraq. Scooter Libbey was right and so was the Bush administration, but you ask the average guy on the street, they think Libby lied and Bush is a liar.

Whether we found atomic weapons by the basket, or Chemical warheads by the bushel, is irrelevant. The UN inspectors were out and Saddam was shooting at our planes daily. The war isn't illegal, it was voted on and approved by the likes of Hillary and John Kerry. The language of the bills voted on left nothing to the imaginations and now they are wiggling trying to figure away to void their vote. Bush was accused of being a "cowboy", but he went to the UN and congress for approval of everything he did. Bush didn't have a problem with what he did, but a problem with the propaganda wing of the 5th estate. Bush has spent 2 terms hiding under the desk from these people with no defense on his part. You can't fight a war with no ammo and refusing to fight.

I'm sure someone somewhere down the road will give a timeline of all this, but most Americans will just remember what the NYTimes told them to think.

All I’m saying here is that someone is “beating a dead horse” to try and convince the public (in general) that there were WMDs in Iraq — when — the President of the United States says we were mistaken on the idea...

When you say that there were WMDs, all someone has to do is quote Bush... LOL.. That ends that conversation...

Yeah, I agree, but it does make me angry that Bush has just rolled over and is running out the clock. His ranch is calling to him and I don't think he wants to even try to defend himself. Chris Mathews and Oberman may write his history.

You said — “His ranch is calling to him and I don’t think he wants to even try to defend himself.”

A little side note here..., actually Bush and his wife are going back to Dallas to set up a home again. So, it looks like the ranch is not going to be his primary residence.

I believe I read that they had picked out a house in an expensive neighborhood of Dallas...

I know about the Connection. My book provides New evidence that Stephen Hayes did not have when he wrote his book.

These documents are true. You don’t know about it because page of the report said No Smoking Gun - No direct connection between Saddam and al Qaida. I actually read past page one.

It’s like I said before, President George Bush (our President) says that he was wrong about WMDs in Iraq.

If you can convince George Bush, then I will go along with his opinion (since he has *more resources* and information at his disposal than either you or I have...) ... LOL...

It took me six months going over these Iraqi memos and documents and putting them into a historical perspective. We have all been lied to by the MSM. Laugh all you want, but what is in these documents is true. We’ve all been lied to and this is the latest information. Cheney has not changed his stance. I did this because when I downloaded and read past page one of the report I realized that Saddam was financing, training, and carrying out operations with al Qaida since 1990. Yes its too bad it taken this long to get the truth out. I even found dates changed and misinformation from the Summary versus sourced documents. The media in the US is dead. Its 100% propaganda.
