Wear tighter pants when stuffing a gun down the band with the safety off?

The only safety on a Glock is a doodad on the trigger, which some liken to putting the brake on the gas pedal.

If you carry a Glock, it MUST be in a holster, even a pocket holster for pocket carry. Keys, stray fingers etc can fire a Glock if they stray inside the trigger guard.

Or, never carry a round chambered in a Glock, ever, until you are ready to rumble.

"If you carry a Glock, it MUST be in a holster"

That's my first choice.

"Or, never carry a round chambered in a Glock, ever, until you are ready to rumble.

That's my second choice. Same rule goes for my Kahr PM40. $:-)

The only safety on a Glock is a doodad on the trigger...

"Same pull first shot, every shot." Ouch.

What’s the pull weight on your Kahr? Glocks are usually 5.5 from the factory, correct?

Pull weight on the Kahr: Heavy. But smooth as silk the whole way through, with a crisp, and I mean crisp, letoff. It's the best factory setup I have seen on any stock semiauto pistol under $1K. The PM9 is also the same high quality. And fit and finish on the Kahr is superb. It's recommended to run 200 rounds through it to break it in, but neither of mine has had so much as a hiccup since day one.

Glocks are all over the map. I've seen a G19 from NYPD that had a 8.5 lb. pull, I think, but a factory G23 breaks at, yeah, I'd say around 5 or 6. To me, it's the smoothness that makes it or breaks it -- pull weight isn't (to me at least) a big deal (within rational limits, o' course). Guess I'm used to heavy triggers... $:-)
