As that Old Saying goes, "Birds of of a feather flock together" With all the revelations about President-elect Barack Obama's Socialist Party Ties, it is not surprising that he would try add like minded people into his cabinet. Former Congressman David Bonior fits the bill. Obama was a member of the Chicago chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, Bonier was a Boston member. Here's a little snippet from the 9/07 issue of the Yankee Radical, the Boston DSA's Newsletter
It should also be noted that Edward’s recent statements on this issue have shown real improvement, which might be due to his key adviser former House Democratic Whip and recent DSA member David Bonior.
Bonior is not only a member of Obama's economic transition team, but some are saying he will be the next secretary of labor. And there is much more:

Every elected official in the Federal Government is now a member of a Socialist Party.
That idiot used to be my Congressdork.. Back in the mid-80’s, I remember reading a news column about him. May have been Robert Novak. Apparently the CIA recorded him calling Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua to advise him of the time and location of an airdrop of supplies form the US to the Contra’s.
He should have been tried, convicted, hung drawn and quartered for that nifty little bit of treason.
The Democratic Socialists named Bonior as a new member in this newsletter, page 2 right side. So it isn’t a false story. I’ll be curious to see if snopes or factcheck claim this is a lie.

Is this the same David Bonior that used to give Special Orders speeches on the House floor against Newt Gingrich? And I thought he was from Michigan, not Boston.
Don’t fear the socialists who belonged to the socialist party. Fear the socialists who belong to the democrat party.
Bonior is strongly ANTI-abortion and consistently voted that way as a Representative, even as Whip I believe. Interesting!
And that would be a good number of the democrats.
