OBAMA'S FORGED BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS NOT GOING AWAY: STATUS REPORT
Atlas Shrugs ^ | December 3, 2008 | Pameal Geller

Posted on 12/03/2008 10:15:58 AM PST by Amityschild

Currently, there are 16 cases in 12 states (with 2 before the Supreme Court) contending that Barack Obama is constitutionally ineligible to be sworn in as President of the United States.

A commenter in an actuarial forum posted this (hat tip Phil) Coming out of Chicago, 2 years 9 months ago, a 26 page report on the importance of getting rid of the natural born citizen clause of the Constitution

Quote: Sarah P. Herlihy is employed by Kirkland & Ellis LLP http://www.kirkland.com . Note: this law firm is based in Chicago.

Bruce I. Ettelson, P.C. (aka PARTNER), is a Member of the finance committees for both U.S. Senators Barack Obama and Richard Durbin.

Not the only partner with ties to their Harvard Senator. Chicago law firm... US Senators for Illinois... yeah, easy link.

Now, we can get into the new affidavits, or testimonies of ambassadors, or forensic experts that go under the psuedonym Dr Ron Polarik, but really, why bother? No one wants to send a guy guilty of forging a US birth certificate to jail for 15 years. Instead, lets focus on how in 2006, Obama's buddies felt it necessary to put together a 26 page dissertation why the "natural born" clause is the "stupidest provision."

Kirkland's specialty?

Quote: Kirkland & Ellis has a 100-year history of providing exceptional service to clients around the world in complex litigation, corporate and tax, intellectual property, restructuring and counseling matters. The groundwork has been established for another century of superior legal work and client service.

Where do they mention Constitutional law? Perhaps under "Other"...

If Obama ran for President knowing he wasn't eligible he ought to be arrested and or deported for defrauding the citizens of the United States.

Only way I’m OK with a messed up birth certificate is if Obama were born @ home or outside of the hospital in Hawaii. If not born on US soil (unless born of US parents abroad as we already allow for), he needs to remove himself from office....but he is not concerned with anything other than being president...not being OUR president or America’s president.

An easy remedy... just show the original birth certificate!

What’s there to hide?

Yep. Seems pretty simple, eh? Certainly there’s no need to go through all this litigation if he’s really qualified to be President.

The new fuhrer's handlers will not be pleased with this information.

Someone will be visited by the Enforcers of the Office of The President-Elect.

This blends nicely with the theory that some here have posed that Obama ran but didn't think he'd win. It was just to set the stage for the future. Now that he's won, he's in deep doo-doo.

I'm thinking he won too early and was hoping the change to the constitution would be in the works or in place by 2012.

Make that now 3 at the Supreme Court.

I wish conservative talk radio would cover this. What’s up with that? No cojones?

Exactly, he threw his hat in the ring to test the waters and see if America was ready, heck Jackson and Sharpton tried...

Problem is, the tidal wave washed him right to the Whitehouse steps... and now... he is not eligible...

That one little sticking point called “The Constitution of the United States of America”.

...details... details...

It’s especially funny that Obama’s career got started when he specialized in getting his opponents removed from the ballot on technicalities.

This is not just a technicality. It’s the Constitution.

Nixon backed down when JFK stole the election - decided that it would tear the country apart, so they let it go.

Kennedy plunged right into the Bay of Pigs, Vietnam and almost started WWIII before he managed to get himself capped.

That 26 page law review article looks as if it is written by a very junior associate or an intern. It stresses that globalism and symbolism are reasons for abolishing the "natural born" requirement. It claims that the "natural born" requirement is discriminatory and archaic.

It claims that opposition to removing the "natural born" requirement represents a fear of foreigners that irrational in our age, especially since a residency requirement such as 20 years would alleviate and basis for that fear. It claims that loyalty can not be a basis for this requirement especially in our day where a "many Americans view the actor Tom Hanks as a loyal and arguably 'good' American, while those same Americans may perceive the actor Martin Sheen as decidedly un-American or disloyal."

It claims that the original intent of John Jay requesting the requirement was "a rumor that the Convention was secretly designing a monarchy to be ruled by a foreign power," in addition a concern for political intrigues in Europe at and just before the time of the Founding.

It ignores any reference to the English Common Law of the last eighteenth century, to Blackstone, to and other commentary or source that would have informed the Founder's thinking. It poo-poohs legitimate concerns of modern foreign influence as follows "it seems unlikely and has even been called ludicrous that a foreign power would conspire to place someone with foreign allegiances in the White House". Whole natural allegiance as a concern of the founders is ignored, no reference to Providence (G-d) setting the place of one's birth for a divine purpose is given, although that is where from the whole concept of "natural born" in common law arose.

The article does not mention Obama; it does mention Schwarzenegger, "Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, former Secretaries of State, Madeleine Albright and Henry Kissinger, Labor Secretary Elaine Chao, and over 700 Medal of Honor Winners" all has not being natural born.

Yep. He thought he would have four more years at least to “iron out” those pesky problems like a passport, birth cert, selective service registration, etc behind the walls of the federal bureaucracy. But since he was caught up the tidal wave, as you say, he had to rely on some do-it-yourselfers that he trusts in his campaign and once the first crappy quality cert came out, it was over.

I have heard some minor discussion of this on talk radio, but not from the major talkers. I think they are treading lightly, because:

1) if they make a major issue out of it before anything occurs in the courts; the MSM will dismiss it as RW talking point to minimize the impact of it on their Moonbat Messiah. I think many are taking a wait and see approach as to what happens in the courts before turning it into an issue.
2)If there really is anything there as far as this goes. Why didn't the Clinton machine use this against Emperor 0 in the primaries??
