Stuck On Stupid ^ | Dec. 2, 2008 | Quaker

Posted on 12/02/2008 6:02:08 AM PST by Quaker

Pres-elect Barack Hussein Obama is rumored to have bought some high priced bling for his bride in appreciation for her support. Is this the change Obama was thinking during his campaign? Certainly not small change.

C’mon, folks, this is getting stupid. We’re sounding too much like the pathetic DU’ers when they attacked Bush for every little thing. There are plenty of political reasons to get after Obama without descending to this level of pettiness.

That’s OK...he can just say it helps our ailing economy.

Another Imelda Marcos (sp?)

Just to show another trend of what the voters voted for, next I guess it will be a gold plated pimpmobile with armor plating.

Give lowlife some power and cash and it obviously shows.

I agree. I don’t care what jewelry he bought his wife.

——I think it would be a nice gesture if he’d toss a few bucks to “Auntie”—the one under a deportation order living in Boston public housing—

Rhodium sounds a pretty cool mineral. I've never worked with it. Maybe someday I'll have a chance. Boy, if you really want to treat somebody special with the "ne plus ultra" -- that's the platinum-family element to do it with.

* * *

Rhodium

Rhodium, an odoriferous essential oil, obtained from the wood of a species of the Aspalathus, or African Broom; and which has received its name from the Island Of Rhodes, whence it is said to be imported.

Oil of Rhodium was formerly in great repute as an astringent and corroborant; but, at present, it is chiefly employed in perfuming pomatums; and forms an ingredient in rat-powders composed of poisonous substances; as these noxious vermin are uncommonly partial to the agreeable scent of the drug.

Eh. Honestly, this doesn’t bother me in the least. He has made a lot of money and he has the moral and legal right to spend it on some jewelry if he likes. Let’s focus on criticizing him for his ideological flaws, not on the way he chooses to make gifts to his wife.

Doesn’t matter. You can put lipstick on pig...

She’s, without a doubt, the ugliest first lady ever, and the second, and the third, and....

Of all pics I never want to see, she ranks right up there with Helen Thomas. Ruins my sex life for a week each time I see one.

I absolutely agree, can you imagine this pig in another country like sipping tea in England?

Or sitting down with royalty in Russia?

This is just a mockery of what the USA represents, we have been blessed with Jackie O, Barbara Bush, Laura Bush and now we have this “black widow” strutting around like another Marcos?

I’m sure “Auntie” is fine....and has signed the required “non-disclosure form”...under penalty of deportation.

How about the poor brother in Kenya living on $12 a year and living in a cardboard shack? You think he could have spent $1,000 less on it and got his brother in an actual shack with maybe an extra meal a day. Oh heck, that would have only taken a $100. So he wouldn’t have shaved too much off the bling for his wife.

Really though, his apathy towards his Kenyan family that he clings to when it suits his political purpose should be exposed for all the world to see.

But this is a flaw in HIS ideology. He is happy to tax people more because of their ability to be frivolous while spending frivolously. It’s exactly the same as when Gore has a huge house and large family while saying we need to slim down on our family size and consumption.

Absolutely, but sometimes you have to lower your standards to deal with the dimwits. They may not understand constitution, but they can understand bling.

The GOP tried that by spending like Democrats. Lot of good that did us.

That’s amazing. 30,000 dollars would change my life and he wastes it on a huge some bling fo his ho. People who voted for him are so stupid.
