One of the things that I'm going to have to work through is how to break through the isolation, the bubble that exists around the president.

Might I suggest a myspace account? That would be so totally cool to be on his friends list. We could be BFFs (which I believe stands for Ben Folds Five, although I'm not entirely sure what that means).

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.

I think that Obama is showing just how little he understands what he has gotten himself (and us, unfortunately) into. I think that he doesn’t have a clue what he is going to do. He certainly doesn’t know the proper protocol for a “POTUS in waiting”, just as neither Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton seem to know the proper role of a former POTUS.

So the guy wants to be President of the United States and yet walk around with a device in his pocket that can give virtually anyone who's at all technically competent a PRECISE LOCATION.

Simple choice ~ withdraw now and keep his Blackberry, or decide to be voted in and give it up.

I hope that latest briefing with President Bush let him know how utterly dangerous being President really is, and that there are people out there who really do want to kill you no matter what you do or how many butts you kiss.

Does the Pope have a Blackberry?
Does Queen Elizabeth II?

Welcome to the Big Leagues, Excellency! They don’t play with gadgets and toys in the Big Leagues.

He wants to keep the Blackberry so he can keep texting with Miss Scarlet.

I don't blame him...

Good grief the guy won’t even turn over his birth certificate. Do we think he’d give up his private blackberry? Everything that applied to every president before doesn’t apply to this buffoon.

And I'm in the process of negotiating with the Secret Service, with lawyers, with White House staff ... to figure out how can I get information from outside of the 10 or 12 people who surround my office in the White House? Because one of the worst things I think that can happen to a president is losing touch with the struggles that people are going through every day."

Under his policies, those struggles are going to get worse each day.

I have a couple of friends and clients that are hooked on these things ~ and when I say “hooked” I mean “addicted”.

As a freelance graphic designer ~ and insomniac ~ I work some odd hours, and have wrapped up some projects at 2:30 or 3 in the AM only to send work off for approval, which I expect mid-morning.

Alas, I don’t have time to shut down my computer before I get a respsonse from one of my clients. I’m like, “What gives? Do you sleep with that thing under your pillow?”

The response that I get ~ “YES. I do sleep with it under my pillow.”

ha ha the little boy is finding out that even he has to follow "obvious" rules.

Doesn't he want to talk with his wife? his children?

I wonder how much that blackberry is worth to him.
His CoLB is worth at least 800K+

He's turning out to be temper tantrum messiah
Barky, give up the presidency or the blackberry. Ya can't have both. Now, got to your room and GROW UP!

0bama won’t be able to call up his handlers when he freaks out or gets confused. How will he ask Ayers, Farrakahn or Soros (Or Chaves, or whoever his secret friends are) what to do if he can’t have untrackable calls?

What a lame excuse. The more he opens his mouth, the more he exposes himself as a coarse, stupid, lying thug.

His Blackberry among other notable functions listed here on this thread is also his high tech “crib sheet.” At any given time George Soros can whisper (text) the right (sarcasm) thing to say or do.

Soros texts,” Remember to say we have wide bi-partisan support here. We have Republican Economists supporting our plan to spend to a silly oblivion..blah blah blah..it will get our economy back on track...blah blah blah”

Polly want a cracker! Sickening.

Well ... he should have known what he was getting into.

I would love to tell him to stop whining. Act like a professional. And most of all ... grow up.
