An article in NYT, reporting on today's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, had this to say about terrorist attacks in Mumbai: "Many of them were initially attributed to Islamist militants, although in recent weeks, the police have pointed to a Hindu terrorist network"

Also note the choice of words. Muslims are merely "militants", only the ultra-violent Hindus (responsible for the vast majority of terrorist attacks throughout the world) qualify for the adjective "terrorist".
I am so glad the price of NYT has fallen 85% over the last 5 years.

PS Even the NYT recognized its blunder in pointing to "Hindu terrorist" as a suspect and has removed this sentence. However if you go to the NYT website and do a search for the phrase "the police have pointed to a Hindu terrorist network" the above quoted text still shows up

The eastern Indian state of Orissa has outlawed membership in the militant Communist Party of India (Maoist) known as the Naxalites, escalating a 40-year-old conflict between the Indian government and Maoist rebels.

Yawn. The Al-Qaeda Times the same paper that is famous for defending Joseph Stalin as he killed millions of Ukrainians in the 1930s. They always shill for the bad guy. Always.
The article I just posted was from June 14, 2006
Maybe the NYT is using the soft peddle, as they have heard that something has been planned for them during the holidays?
“I am so glad the price of NYT has fallen 85% over the last 5 years.”
I want to see it go entirely out of business.
India playing with Maoist fire
By Sultan Shahin
NEW DELHI - India appears to be taking a big gamble with Maoist insurgents. Encouraged by the central government in Delhi, the ruling Congress-led coalition government in the state of Andhra Pradesh has removed a nine-year-old ban on the People's War Group (PWG), which was recently put on a terrorist watch list by the United States.
If it weren’t for the NYT and similarly infected organs of the body collective, I wouldn’t know that all religions are dangerous and equally likely to result in extremist and terrorist action. This is why Christianity is exactly the same as Islam, because...because it...because it is. And the Crusades. Something about the Crusades. And that guy that bombed abortion clinics in the 80’s. Something about him too. Anyway, Hindus and Christians are the real danger, not Muslims. Muslims are just victims of whitey. Or the Jews. Something like that. Hey, I have to go, Idol is on!...
Everyone knows that Hindu “terrorists” call themselves “Mujahideen” as opposed to Islamic “militants” who call themselves “Journalists”.
Now why would anyone doubt the prestigious NYT? I, for one, wouldn't even trust their classified section.
They know who did it, but they deliberately lie. The NYT has zero credibility.
???
So why did the terrorists use the term “Mujahideen” then if they weren’t muslims?
“something has been planned for them for the holidays”
I suppose it would be kind of interesting if the slimes, the last bastion of free speech and truth publication(/s) were to be hit by terrorists. I’m sure all of the US citizenry would shed tears.
No wonder the stock of the NYT is considered “junk”.
I had written “I am so glad the price of NYT has fallen 85% over the last 5 years.”
Clarification, the market capitalization of NYT equity has fallen from a high of $7 billion to $1 billion over the past decade. Here’s hoping it goes to zero soon, and someone less biased buys the paper.

The NYT article without the text about “Hindu terrorist” and “Muslim militants” removed can still be found in other sites like Deseret News: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/content/mobile/1,5620,705266324,00.html

Bambi will likely bail them out.
