"SAN FRANCISCO - An atheist who has spent four years trying to ban the Pledge of Allegiance from being recited in public schools is now challenging the motto printed on U.S. currency because it refers to God.

Newdow is simply a publicity hound, pure and simple. Most people who don’t believe in God don’t care one way or another about that being on the currency.

What does he want to replace it with? “In our own atheistic hubris we trust”?? “In Obama we trust”??

Any atheist that is offended by those words on their currency can box it all up, and send it to me. I’ll provide an address if anyone wants to know where they can rid themselves of this great offense to their sensibilities.

I will now close my eyes and send telepathic pleas to my antiquated Sky God asking pity on the sentient carbon mass known as Michael Newdow. May this decaying biological specimen find meaning in his quest to prove that his existence is meaningless.

How sad that some peoples lives are so lacking in substance that they have time to act like an asswipe for decades without taking a break..

I prefer “E Pluribus Unum.” I don’t trust anyone, especially not government, nor someone’s interpretation of his god’s rules and his enforcement of them.

Of course your last suggestion would be more in line with the upcoming government’s leitmotif.

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Prov. 14:34)
“By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.” (Prov. 16:6)

“Why are secularists waging a war against Christian
America?”
