I’m not the biggest Ann Coulter fan out there. I think she says things that are way out of line just for the controversy, and attention for selling books. However, when we learned that Teddy Kennedy had brain cancer we didn’t make jokes about it. It would have been easy to do, but we asked our readers to pray for him. This is what makes conservatives different than most liberals! We don’t celebrate the tragedies of others just because we don’t like them, with perhaps the exception of Fred Phelps and his cult where we might make an exception. However, the left are jubilant that Ann Coulter’s mouth has finally been shut!

When I wrote the post, your point crossed my mind. They are not equal, but they are both tragedies period. One is worse than the other, but both are misfortunes that any decent person would not mock.

If Nanny Lalapeloosi’s face were to fall apart and melt down to her ankles, I’d hide my grief as best I could behind a big but fake smile. AND, I am a pretty good actor so it might be difficult to find the grief.
And the left should enjoy their momentary gloat. There is no person that I am more confident can weather their blows and neuter them with her return fire.

I took my tagline from a conversation that two freepers were having...one of them made a point about Obama’s presidency being more fun than a barrel full of monkeys for some people, and the other retorted with my tagline...it struck me how true that would be (having read some accounts of people being attacked by monkeys) and doubly so in this case.

They are either woefully ignorant or deliberately lying to besmirch conseratives.
If you think I am kidding then go play somewhere else. After 8 years of hearing the the left denigrate and belittle the President of the United States I am feed up (BTW I am no W fan and never have been). For them to assume to tell the conservative world to just forget it all and move on is not happening around here.
I bet you are one of those around FR who wished Teddy the swimmer the best when he got sick. I do not wish my enemies well; it does not mean I wish them ill.
