For Obama, it is the old born in Kenya story again. Anyone who doubts that Obama was not born in Hawaii, please refer to Politifact and Factcheck investigations.

His grandmother says he was born in Kenya, the Kenyan government says he was born in Kenya, so why should we doubt them?

Well, he did have Kenyan citizenship until he was 18 because his father was Kenyan.

Does the United States Code specify what is meant by "natural born citizen"? Or is it a matter that has never been specified because no one really tested it, much like there would be no need for speed limits if everyone drove at a safe speed. The only two jobs it is required for are President and Vice President, and if no one ran for office with questionable citizenship I could see how no one would waste time writing a law to cover it.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I think it was a situation where everyone figured that nobody from a major party would deliberately run for President unless they were constitutionally qualified...so all the Secretary of States got lax in actually verifying citizenship. In my opinion, if this is true, Obama did it on purpose knowing full well that if DOES assume the Presidency without being constitutionally qualified that it sets a precedent and opens up the Presidency to basically anyone in the world. The aim was to subvert and weaken the constitution and the United States.

Gosh, Barak Hussein's mom couldn't possibly have hidden this fact because she was ashamed of herself, or because she knew that she and Barak would be far, far better off if they were both US citizens. US citizenship would have entitled Barak to all the rights and privileges of an American, this alone is reason enough to hide his Kenyan birth. If Barak's mom could remain married to Barak Sr. knowing she's just one of his several wives she could do anything, imho.

That really IS the 64K question. I have no idea what the protocol will be. If he ran illegitimately, then Biden is not VP either. Then what? You can't exactly hand it to McCain. Oh my...maybe Nancy Pelosi would be President! AKKKKK

If is true then there's only two choices. Ignore it and hope that it was just a one time thing and that it never gets out that he wasn't qualified...or disqualify him and watch a really ugly mess unfold.

Either way it's not going to be pretty, but the 2nd choice will go away eventually and the constitution will be upheld.

My understanding is that there is no other choice -- if Obama is ineligible, Congress must give the presidency to the guy who collected the second highest number of Electoral College votes. That would be McCain.

If this happens, there will be war.

I agree, that would be ugly. I suspect they would have another election, but I’m just speculating. I really have no earthly idea how this would be handled.
