Obama calls on his Internet campaign army to march again

WASHINGTON — President-elect Barack Obama's 3 million campaign volunteers got re-enlistment notices this week.

Campaign manager David Plouffe, in a mass e-mail sent Wednesday to former workers, asked how much time they can spare for four missions integral to Obama's effort to transform his victory into a broader political movement.

The volunteers' options are, Plouffe wrote:

• Campaign for progressive state and local candidates
• Undertake grassroots local efforts to advance Obama's agenda
• Train others in Obama's organizing techniques
• Focus on local political issues.

"Obama's building a political machine," said Stephen Hess, a presidential scholar at the Brookings Institution, a center-left Washington research group . . .

What, you thought they were just going to stop? That they were just going to rest on their laurels?

As I have repeated 100 times, verbally and in print over the last couple of years, the left is waging total war on every front. They always will; it's what they do. They do it overseas and their adjuncts here do it here.

Unless conservatives start getting involved, not just at election time, but 24/7/365 . . .

Once in a passing comment by Geraldine Ferraro over the weekend and then again this morning by Bill Hemmer speaking with Bob Beckel - referred to overturning the 20th Amendment.

Pressure is on Bush to ‘share’ the Presidency until Obama gets in... and it looks to me like he is acquiescing.

I dont like what they fight FOR, but I cant just dismiss their energy to fight or it.

And whether we want to admit it or not, they believe in liberal-socialism with a drive and passion that dwarfs our sides belief in libertarian-conservatism.

Are you some form of subversive? Even if you did not vote for obama, I am sure you did, it is subversive to not show support for the chancelor president by failing to have a sticker on your vehicle.

Obama managed to get all those misfits out of their mother’s basements and doing something. Now they are demanding he supply them with jobs. Naturally The Great Spreader will use tax-payer money to fund these no-accounts and provide them with make-work jobs until the next election. Then they can all take a hike as far as Obama is concerned.

Actually, he said he would "fund the civilian security forces as well as the military is, and that they would be as powerful, and as well equipped."

Although he may be able to use some of these volunteers in those positions, I expect the security force positions to be filled with the Black Panther/Brown Muslim types, because they are already radicals who hate whites and America! They will be his paid enforcers/body guards. That's just my guess but I think I'm close enough to being right that it scares me! lol.. They ALL hate us and they would jump at the chance to be paid for working in a position where they could legally get even with the whites who forced them into slavery!

Mate, it IS PARADISE, I would never voluntarily move back to Canada, and there are plenty of Yanks here learning how to be Kiwis. Immigration is straightforward. LOL and I hope you “make the jump” across the ditch. If you do, look me up.

And you won’t even need to keep your guns: I sold all mine when I left Canada and have not felt the urgency to replace them. You can, however, own guns here if you really must. It isn’t a right, it’s a Privilege. But even so, we have a very high per-populace gun ownership (I think it is even higher than the US, believe it or not).

But why have them? Harsh language and an awesome left hook has kept me in good stead for many, many years.

I keep dogs, an air rifle for varmints, and a pair of nunchuks. Good enough for me.
