It is easy for a few people to criticize Leo but what have they done? Most likely nothing. We are losing the Constitution and Leo is one of the few people who cares. The pithy little keyboard commandos here sicken me.

"Leo has a lot of heart, a love for the Constitution and he is no BS. America needs more Leos."

Ah, that must mean he will soon be crucified.

Watch for it.

Sad but true. Listening to the naysayers and keyboard commado cowards here is pretty pathetic. They are more interested in pithy comments.

They should just go back to watching a ball game or something as inane.

Thx ... have been off my game for a couple of days.

My uncle died on Sunday and I have been busy with my other uncle (his brother) making arrangements for his burial at Arlington Nat. Cemetary ...

My mind has not been on THIS fiasco lately ...

Yeah - we can all hang together or hang separately. Looks like it will be separately.

Leo was trying to keep us from hanging but the apathy is incredible.

Congressman Billybob:

Would you explain please the difference between “typewritten” and “not printed”? And what courts you’ve had these dealings with?

If you’ve listent to all his prarie radio and Lam Lamphere interviews, in there - the first three days Mon17/Tues18/Wed19 before he went blotto Friday Nov 21 on the NY appellate judge’s clear misconduct as was becoming evinced by LD’s callback to NJ to assure sanctity of records passable to USSC , he was advocating and practicing respect in NOT lobbying the USSC. He didn’t want people to continue writing letters, making calls to USSC early in week.

I recall he was most informative on problems with Danny “ I AM the Supreme Court” Bickell on both Monday shows. Friday I’m sure as well he ASKED FOR HELP from lawyers who had routinely worked w/ USSC and/or historian so familiar, the STAY being so unusual and his requests for assistance from USSC clerks being entirely ignored. He cited as I recall a Sec 22.1 of the manual for such and that such STAY request be IMMEDIATELY forwarded by the clerk.

I went a dite daft trying to transcribe some of this given the way one can’t scroll back and forth thru the shows to get it straight and am not a lawyer. Maybe there is greater transcription available now.

In any case I repeat question and further query what precisely you mean and to what you are referring in the USSC submission. Has Donofrio submitted a single original without printed COPIES (you are obviously missing a word here)? I find this very hard to believe given this being near-exact problem he had with the obstructionist NY appellate judge and his clerk – they attempting to get LD to submit improperly thru their own offices as I recall originals WITHOUT sufficient copying etc. Sure wish someone would transcribe these broadcasts.

I’ve certainly followed these things enough to realize it is key to know when additional materials may be added to an original action with two prominent examples: LD (being blocked) by the NJ appellate and Berg with excess additions (coming late). Now you have forwarded this contention, and rather flatly and without clear reference.

Typewritten means done with a typewriter. Printed means reproduced on a printing press. The US Supreme Court rules are extremely precise on printing, number of copies, page size, and color of cover paper, among others.

Only twice has the Supreme Court accepted a typewritten brief since those rules went into effect. Because I knew that the Court had accepted a non-printed brief once, in US v. Nixon, I was able to persuade Chief Clerk Michael Rodak (sp?) to accept such an emergency brief in one of my cases.

I do not know how and why Donofrio has gotten crosswise with the Clerk, now. Whatever it is, it is probably fatal, since fighting with a clerk is like fighting with any bureaucrat, but more so.

The Keyes case in California has a better chance of success than this one, for reasons I won't bother with just now.

Yes. I've been trying to educate Americans for a number of years now.

You can't teach them anything, and if you try to teach them something, they become resentful and attack the messenger.

Sad but true. People will not learn until their cable TV gets shut off. The masses worship celebs, political correctness and faux environmentalism. They were easily brainwashed in Nov. Massive financial manipulation helped reinforce the brainwashing.

In your opinion, why do you think Thomas distributed the case to conference?

"They were easily brainwashed in Nov."

November was the result, but IMO, the people have been brainwashed for years.

Emergency Relief CAN be granted by the single Justice to whom it is submitted. However, if the matter is at all controversial, the single, assigned Justice will "consult" with the other Justices.

I know of one instance in which then-Justice Rehnquist decided a request for Emergency Relief concerning an advisory referendum in Nevada, without consulting any other Justices.

Much more common is the first case in which I obtained Emergency Relief from the Supreme Court (McCarthy v. Briscoe, September, 1976). The single Justice granting the relief added the statement, "I am authorized to state that four of my Brethren agree with this conclusion."

That is what is going on now. There will probably be a single-Justice decision, but it will announce how the other Justices stand on the issue of whether the Court will take the case, and if so, is it going to take any action.

I agree with your comment.

The people who have criticized Leo or people who act so apathetic to this issue are, in my opinion, worse than people who are against are Constitution.

You know the, “nothing will happen here, the court will not hear this, let us move on”, posters.
They make me madder than he!!.

I used to answer them, trying to make them understand the gravity of the situation, but got very tired. And I now believe most of them want to “wimp out” and are afraid of the fight.

I will continue to pray, write letters when I have to, and of course will stand ready and vigilant for whatever else is needed from me.

I worry about Leo too. He is out there sticking his neck out while these whiners say “nothing will happen - nothing to see...” Leo is out there just like the framers and first Americans were out there potentially risking everything.

Well Justice Thomas also thinks it may be important. For some reason (sarcasm) I think the SCOTUS Justices might actually be interested in the constitution.

The Supreme Court is my last hope in my government.

Truly sad days we are living in.

I was watching the History Channel’s series on the American Revolution, called “Revolution”.

It is a miracle how America came to be. More should watch it or read about it.
I believe it would make many Americans (some of them members of FR) understand what might be lost in the coming days, weeks, and months.

I pray Americans wake up from their laziness and blindness.
